Thanks for the video and sharing, last year(2023), I lived in the Jomtien area close to Pattaya for 6 months and my monthly budget was $3K and that's with companionship with a regular Thai lady for 3x a week and not buying any lady drinks and barfines. I been eating Thai foods in the market not western food. I don't even smoke cigarettes/weeds & chew tobacco. I was planning to retire but changed my mind in the last minute. In my early 50's now and back to work in sunny Cali to get more extra savings then retire for good. I'll try to come back to LOS late next year maybe of the possibility of retiring since America is getting worse right now.

Yes, I agree you can live a great life in thailand for only a few thousand a month its like paradise. I do find jomtien to be a great beach town, not to crazy with the partying but right by pattaya in case you wanna have a wild night. I hope you make it back to thailand soon my friend. Best of luck!

Arcadia beach resort love that place and definitely will stay there again next time I visit. It’s in a good location where you are not close to the nightlife crazies but you are much closer to the beach and relaxation 10 mins walk.
