You should be careful with AirBnB - renting apartments for less than 30 days in Thailand is illegal unless the apartment has a proper hotel license (not all do).

Hotels usually properly register you. While short term rentals on airbnb isn’t really legal. So be prepared to leave your Airbnb early when the place realizes that they’re getting in trouble with the juristic person office if you stay in a condo. Maybe everything will be fine and like everything here it’s up to you. Arai gor dai

Brian thank you for your efforts but there are 100,000 vlogs of the same I’ll start you off. Why do Uber always say go to pickup point which could be 100 meters away and as a farang you may not understand where this is. Please explain why grab don’t come to your gps point 🙏

Some good advice there. I don't agree 100% on the taxi thing. Mostly it's cheaper for me to use ordinary taxis, but it takes a bit of practice (and some Thai language) for that to happen. Otherwise, yes I agree, Grab is probably better for newbies. Re hotels, I would recommend Agoda. I've used them forever and there's plenty of reviews to guide you in the right choice of accommodation. Last point. Ladyboys. If in doubt, as a last resort, ask them to place their palms together, stretch their arms out straight in front and touch their elbows together. Men, mostly can't touch their elbows, but woman mostly can. Not 100% foolproof, but pretty close. Also, do it with a smile on your face so you don't cause any loss of face to anyone! Only do this in bars, hotels, etc. Don't do it to streetwalkers or you'll likely get a high heel imbedded in your eye socket.

Yes, very funny I dont live in thailand I travel the world. I have been to thailand, bali, vietnam, japan, philppines, saudi arabia as well as all over mexico and the caribbean. Last, there are a lot of topics youtubers havnt coverd you can see through keyword research, as well as alot of places that have not been covered so following your dream and giving it a shot is never the wrong thing my friend, I hope you are following your dreams as well
