IELTS এ ভালো স্কোর থাকলে কানাডাতে ভাল ভাল ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলোতে ভর্তির কোন সমস্যা হয় না। ৭.৫ পাওয়ায় কানাডাতে ভর্তির রাস্তা অনেক সহজ হলো। তবে ৮.০ বা ৮.৫ পেলে কানাডাতে ভর্তির জন্য বা Scholarships এর জন্য অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে কানাডার ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলোই ছাত্রদের পেছনে দোড়ায়। কানাডাতে Foreign Students এর জন্য টিউশন ফিস খুবই Expensive. Local or immigrants students এর তুলনায় ১০ থেকে ১৫ গুন বেশী। তাই প্রথমে Immigration নিয়ে কানাডায় পোঁছানোর পর লেখাপড়ার কাজে লাগাটাই অনেক উত্তম। কারণ Immigrant Students রা একদিকে যেমন খুবই সস্তায় লেখাপড়া করতে পারে, অন্য দিকে কানাডা সরকারের বিভিন্ন Scholarship packages, loan, এবং অন্নান্য সুযোগ সুবিধা পায় যাহা Foreign Students কল্পনাও করতে পারেনা। কানাডার ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলোর প্রায় ৯৫% ছাত্রই Local or immigrants students ‍এবং প্রায় সকলেই কোন না কোন কানাডা সরকারের study package ই লেখা পড়া করে। উদাহরণ স্বরূপ বলা যায় যে, টরন্টোতে বিভিন্ন কলেজ ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলোর শতকরা ৯৮% ভাগ ছাত্রই OSAP নামক Student Loan package এর সুবিধা নিয়ে লেখা পড়া করে। আমার মেয়েও এভাবে OSAP এর মাধ্যমে Fashion Designing এর উপর লেখাপড়া করতেছে। কারণ সে নিজেই Immigrant and PR Card Holder. কানাডাতে টিউশন ফিসের গোপন রহস্য নিয়ে আমার চেনেলেও কিছু ভিডিও আছে।
