Plumbers around here in Boston are charging $250 an hour. Labor is crazy high now compared to just a few years ago.

I live in western NC. Took me a year to get a plumber out to my house/ im a widow. Two times some handyman “fixed” my toile at $100 each time. Wasn’t a fix. Finally got a plumber and less than 2 hours later he replaced wax seal and water hose going from floor into toilet (45 min was gone to store) And it was $485
@cumberlandquiltchic117 сағат бұрын
I should add, I now have a leaky sink. I just turned off wster at floor to it. Don’t know when it will ever get fixed. Im likely going to have to sell this house and try to find something newer. Needs new windows and there aren’t that many )1949 750sf ) was told $15 k or more Im over it all . Might get me a travel trailer or a tiny home new $125 to mow for 45 minutes and they don’t do anything else so it grows up around house and then $450-$600 for fall cleanup It’s rediculous!

I used to Peachtree Doors and Windows whom used to make not only Windows, but they made Sliding Glass Doors and Sky Lights. I used to work at a plant but it was bought out so they closed our local plant.

It's interesting looking back and seeing the differences in color choices and cabinets etc. I don't mind those oak colored cabinets with the black flooring. It is pretty incredible how much the repairs and even the sale price has changed so much in just 7 years. wow

I know many people will tell my my costs are too high and others will say they are too low. For those saying they are too low, we work very hard to keep them down since flipping and rentals are my business. We could easily pay more.

Purchase price & Reno cost have went up drastically since 2020 in my area of Tennessee. Sell price has went up too so it seems to somewhat balance out for me. I purchased your blueprint course btw & am super excited about it. Have learned a lot from your videos since 2018 when I first took the leap into REI

the biggest reasons for cost increases is wages going up and covid shortages. We are still backed up on some stuff after the shut downs
@jennnyandjeffs8 сағат бұрын
It has nothing to do with Biden. You know that, but you're being stupidly political. There's been worldwide inflation. And that includes plenty of price gauging also. The U.S. president isn't that powerful that he can control prices of labor or consumer goods. 🤦
