Costa Adeje Vlog | January 2024

So I've arrived in Costa Adeje and I'm not so surprised to see it looks exactly like the last two resorts I've been staying in, Playa de las americas... and before that Los Christianos. If you've not seen the videos for those already then go check them out.
This accompanying video from Costa Adeje will complete the trilogy of my Canary Islands holidays this winter and I'm already looking forward to coming back next winter!
Ok, so, unlike Playa De Las Americas there is less waves and consequently less surfers, but there's still some try hard guys out here that maybe wanted a gentler ride. I'm not even sure why but I just like seeing surfers out on the waves. I used to do a bit of surfing myself but I don't think I'd chance it over those rocks.
Anyway while the Uk freezes in minus 2 degrees, here is a pleasant 25 degrees right until evening, and since it's warm enough to sunbathe and swim in the ocean it's also warm enough to go to the water park. The 2 main ones are located here in Costa Adeje, aqua land and siam park. Siam park is the best but at 42 euros entry it's a bit to steep for my liking. Don't worry though there are tons more days out and excursions to choose from and every street corner has a different outlet. Everything in Costa Adeje I've noticed is slightly cheaper then the livelier resorts next door actually.
The apartment I've been staying in here has an amazing terrace and only cost £70 per night, which personally I think is outstanding value, it's like a little zen sanctuary on the top of of a very big hill. I'll leave a link in the description incase you're thinking to stay here yourself.
Obviously though there is a hotel to suit every budget so search thoroughly and you'll find the right place for you.
Food wise there is tons of restaurants and tons of bargains to be had. If you like an English breakfast you can't do better than Rossini's, they do a full English for €4.50 right up until 6pm and it's delicious.
Speaking of delicious food you need to try the coconut icecream desserts that you can get from the Mercadona supermarkets, which is also the best value place to get your food shopping for your holidays.
For drinks I'd recommend The Pheasant Plucker where you'll also get to see Tenerife's very own Comedy Elvis, Kevin Isaac, he's a great laugh and will be a highlight of your holiday.
Last thing I want to mention is to just beware of the prices for food in some places. What seems like a bargain on the board outside turns into an expensive meal when they hammer you for secretly expensive drink prices.
