Costa Maya is a small cruise port located on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula near Belize. It is approximately 130 miles south of Cozumel and is famous for having the largest Mayan ruins and quaint fishing villages.

The dolphin swim hits you for a bill of over $300 if you want all the photos their photographer takes. Good photos and you may only do this once in your life so is it worth it? Only you can decide. I bought them.

My wife Candice, and I are heading on our first ever cruise, first ever vacation together, and are heading on the Carnival Valor out of New Orleans to Costa Maya.. We want to see jungle/pyramids while there and are researching which excursion we should purchase. We came across your channel here, and wanted to ask you which of the excursions would you personally recommend after hindsight? -Nick

Hi there... we are so excited for you! This will be an amazing trip. The Chachoben Maya Ruins is the closest at about an hour drive from the cruise port..there are others Ruins, the largest is Xcabal. If you can do either with the ship tour, that would be your best bet. Enjoy!!!

We paid 50 for the coconut bath and hammock massage. Not bad..but see our video about Costa Maya and walking to town.. 20 dollar massage for one hour there!

How much to rent the golf cart

It depends on how much time that you want and the size of the cart. Plan on about 80 dollars.

Kayla..have a great time. I am nit sure the bar has a name but it is the only tiki bar on Adrenaline Beach! Have so much fun!

Costa Maya port is great but be careful of the skin care store that gives out little bags of soap to get you inside ! Very expensive!! Non refundable!! Too bad if it gives you a bad reaction!
