They ran at Bakersfield on Thursday nights in the rodeo arena....it was awsome, the early 70s were great !!!

I rode there a few times in the mid/latter 70's won a handicap main D-1 and I just loved that track, it was really fun and fast for a little track my friend

Costa Mesa was a great venue. What seemed to me a small track surrounded by the fans. Penhall was a great champion and ambassador for the sport. Boogaloo Bobby Schwartz was one of my all time favorites. I was really lucky to see the World Team Championships at Veteran's Stadium in 1985 and 1988.

Them were some good days indeed, both Bruce & Bobby were amazing riders in their day! Costa MESA is still my favorite track to ride to this day! I've always loved to ride there thanks 🏁🏆🏁

I loved racing at Ventura in the 70s as it was a fun track to race at & spectators were great also! Fun times!
