Love your content and how real you are! I used to work in hospitality and got asked the check in and check out times allll the time lol if we allowed everyone to check out late it would delay the clean up process for housekeeping which would result in an even later check in time 😬❤️

Costa rica is expensive if you live like an american. Try eating at a local soda instead of applebees. Try eating the local and seasonal fruits and vegetables at la feria del agricultor. Same with cheeses.

I definitely think the more you can live like a local its less expensive but its till an expensive country! I've been here 3 months and I see it first hand, especially where I was in Puerto Viejo!

This child of mine absolutely did not carry the weight of the backpack! Thankfully we got in a rhythm with the rolling suitcase but the escalator ended that. 😂/😭

No, you were bugging that Walmart is very expensive, but those products were imported for them, so it's going to be more expensive. Now, as far as having my daughter carry all of that luggage, probably not. Her backpack/carryon and her smaller suitcase are the max for her.

Costa Rica is not worth the money. This is a very very expensive country. Spend your money somewhere else . And this place is not a place to retire unless you are very rich.
