we decided to evacuate during the LA fires

during the pacific palisades and eaton fires, los angeles was in a state of emergency. even though we weren’t directly at risk, the anxiety and poor air quality led our family to make the difficult decision to evacuate even after receiving a false amber alert to ease some of our concerns about air quality + safety.
