Thank you for sharing your travel experience in Southern Costa Rica. I'm sorry to read that you did not have the most relaxing time there. We did notice that the locations north of Uvita had a higher concentration of foreign visitors and Expats. We are drawn to quiet, off-the-beaten path experiences and enjoyed the peaceful settings of Drake Bay and Pavones in particular. The organized scuba diving and snorkeling excursions to Cano Island were very popular with visitors. In Pavones we must have stumbled upon a quiet window as we felt quite removed from it all. Only a handful of surfers, and very quiet roads, beaches and restaurants. Thank you again for sharing your insights! Yaz

@@dikshyachapagain5442 Oh gosh, I think I've been lucky enough to visit 50 countries so far, mostly in the Northern Hemisphere. I love learning about (and from) all the diverse cultures found on this beautiful planet. I hope to have the opportunity to explore more of the Southern Hemisphere in the future. Take care, Yaz

@@planetyaz that’s amazing very inspiring southern hemisphere countries are a bit cheaper to travel too I guess in compare to northern ones I am planing to travel for our first trip back to London and Paris I live in Australia so flight cost are nearly $5k two people return insane But willing to make it happen anyway I am very passionate about travelling exploring countries culture food is a big part for me Hope to have travelled at least 10 countries by the time I am 40

@@dikshyachapagain5442 That sounds like a lovely trip that you have planned! I know what you are saying about costs. Travel is probably the top passion that Dave and I have so we prioritize it when it comes to budgeting. It's actually quite funny to watch us sometimes. i.e. We'll feel like ordering take-out food one night and then say "but that $50 would be really handy on a holiday..." I believe in following your passion as it typically will make you feel the most fulfilled in the end.
