im from perez zeledon (the small city at the beggining of the video) : nauyaca is the best known waterfall in the area but since this is the most rugged part of the country there are so many rivers and waterfalls. we dont receive tourism like some other areas but i think this place is the hiden gem of costa rica we have: chirripo. cloudbridge . sabana oka . before costa rican i feel like a "southern costa rican"(sureño) . i hope you had a great time :) and thanks for visiting the south hahah .

I totally agree, I think the South of Costa Rica is less known and underrated. I really enjoyed this area :) Where about Perez Zeledon you from ? I was in Tinamaste for a few weeks.

Next visit I highly recommend Montezuma and Drakes bay. Opposite ends of CR but beautiful and my 2 favorite towns!.

Very nice video! Thanks for coming to our country and showed some of its beauties 👌👌 Next time you come to our country I suggest to visit Tortuguero National Park that is our small version for the Amazon, its full of biodiversity and also you could watch lots of turtles putting its eggs if you go in the season for that. Also, you could visit Río Celeste, for me is the most beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica, because is in a sky blue river, os located inside the Volcan Tenorio National Park, it’s like an hour from La Fortuna. The beaches from Guanacaste are really beautiful, I suggest to go to Conchal and Flamingo. The best place in terms of biodiversity, is the Corcovado National Park, only in that park you could find the 2.5% of the biodiversity of the entire planet, also you could see whales, if you go in the correct season and the snorkeling is a must. Good luck with your channel! Pura vida!
