They went to Tamarindo Beach, for me, you choose a better place. Remember you have to buy several weeks before the tickets online for entering to the Manuel Antonio National Park. Read carefully the instructions in the ticket receipt. I suggest to visit Nauyaca Waterfalls, are very beautiful. Also you could take ship tour to watch whales (in the whale season) Very close from Manuel Antonio there is a canopy (not the one inside the town) it is outside from the town. It have lines that have a length of more than a kilometer. Enjoy our country! Pura vida!
