Wow, busy 4 days,,,,I was there in January for four weeks. The greatest experience I’ve ever had! So much so that I’m selling my house and moving to SAN Pedro! I'm reluctant to book in advance since not sure how long customs and the drive there would take. Does the ferry have their own transport from the airport to the ferry terminal? Hi Kim, yes, I made our reservation for the ferry in advance of our trip and I scheduled our round trip transportation from the airport to the ferry through the ferry company. You will provide them with your flight information so, if there are any delays or issues with customs you don’t need to worry, they will wait for you. If you miss your ferry, they will put you on the next one. Hope this helps and have a wonderful and safe trip! TFW!😊💕

Like I mentioned in the video San Pedro and Caye Caulker are very safe, you won’t have to be constantly looking around or over your shoulder. You guys are going to have a great time. TFW!😊💕

With regards to how much we spent on food daily, I can’t give you an exact amount because I don’t remember how much everything cost. but it really wasn’t that much. The food we purchased at Martha’s the day we arrived was like $10 and we split that and it filled us up and we got ice cream and I think that was like $11. Our second day there we spent a little more because we bought breakfast, lunch and dinner and Elvie’s Kitchen was on the higher side. The day of our excursion all the food (breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, and cocktails) was included in the price we paid. We went to Carambas that night for dinner and that was pricey because of the seafood but it reasonable and worth it. The sit down restaurants are going to be more expensive than the side of the road places. They have food for every budget and everything we had was good. Hope this helps.

Thank you and the flight can be costly and long. Unfortunately, the longer you wait to purchase your ticket, the more expensive it will get. Some airlines like Southwest run specials but the ticket are usually sell out fast. Traveling to Belize is definitely an all day travel day depending on where you are coming from. However, once you get there, it’s worth it. At least it was for me. Good luck and enjoy you trip. TFW!😊💕

Aw, thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. And Yes, we pre-book the ferry round trip a few weeks before our actual trip. The ferry company also offers transfers to and from the airport to the ferry. The Belizean currency is $2 to every one US dollar. So, if something cost $50 Belize, it will be $25 US. Depending how long you are staying, I recommend between $300-$500 for a five day trip. However, you probably won’t spend it all. Hope that helps and TFW!

Hi Lauren, Yes, they do have their own shuttle from the airport to the water taxi, I booked our shuttle when I bought our ferry tickets and don’t worry, if your plane is delayed they will adjust to your flight schedule. Hope this helps, enjoy your trip, and TFW!😊💕

Would you recommend staying in Caye Caulker or just visiting for the day?

Personally, I would just visit for the day but it’s a matter of preference. Caye Caulker is very small and you can literally walk it in a couple of hours. Also the ferry stops running like around 6:00pm so you would be stuck there if you wanted to explore San Pedro or the other islands in the evening.
