We have never known a person that smiled as much as Perry did, he was in a good mood on stage as much as he was off stage, he was a great treasure and we are still sad that he is no longer with us, Perry, Roselle and Nick Perito were the three greatest and kindest people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I’m an eighty two year old lady, and I remember hearing Perry singing in our house way back about 1951, Don’t Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes, and I’ve been hooked ever since, what a singer and what a man handsome and a he was a great living person,I saw him live in Glasgow in 1974 I think it was , and I went to see both his performances in the same evening, he was magnificent.

Eventhough, Perry Como wasn't from my generation, but as a young fan of his, to me he was the best top single selling record male singer, according to the American Billboard Chart, between, 1940 and 1970, despite Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, or even Dean Martin, for that matter. In other words, Perry Como outsold more records than anybody else in the world, even before Michael Jackson, as well. Thank! you so much, for this magnificent! presentation, on the KZbin channel. I will never forget. For me growing up in the Fifties, Perry Como was one of the classiest performers on TV. I remember asking my father who his favorite singer was. He thought for a moment, then said "Perry Como". My father, a surgeon, had grown up in a poor family working from a young age and a child prodigy on the violin who worked in his father's barbershop. Perry remains an idol for me and reminds me of my father's kindness and character.
