We bought 6 of the 9 foot trees from Costco about 3 years ago. We love them! There's no fluffing needed, you just put it in the stand and step away. I've only had to adjust one or two branches on all of the trees combined. The needles are the most realistic I've seen on any tree. We just recently purchased a six and a half foot Slim tree from Balsam Hill and actually returned it within 5 minutes of getting it. Absolute piece of junk! Nothing beats these Costco trees although I will say that the newer model is not as thick as the older ones. The newer ones with the micro LED lights don't seem to have as many needle branches on the ends and you can kind of see the center more easily. On the older ones that we have the artificial tips are so thick that you cannot even see the cheaper needles in the middle. That being said, these trees are still the best that there are, I haven't found one yet that's better.

The bottom portion will light up even if the top two pieces are not mounted. I would check for any loose connections near the trunk of the tree and then the plug itself. Of course, also make sure the foot pedal is toggled on. Good luck.

Any idea how to order more replacement bulbs? I have this same tree and am having a dilly of a time trying to figure out which bulbs would work as replacements... I believe they are "Dual Color" leds (each bulb can be white+one other color: blue/green/red/yellow) and the manual says they're 1.8-3.6V / .036-.072 W... For most bulbs that are having trouble. the white part of the bulb works, but the colored LED part doesn't... so if you switch the lights to all white... everything works, but if you rotate through colors, some of the colored bulbs don't work.

I wouldn’t say mine is wobbly but it’s not super sturdy either. It doesn’t wobble side to side at each connection point but as a whole it sways a little if you push on it. Also not a ton of space for ornaments on the insides of the tree. It’s very nice though…

thanks for the video. You noted in the video that the pieces did not click to lock together. We noticed the same thing with ours which would not bother me except that the tree is "wobbly" at the joints. Did you notice the same thing and if so, do you have any advice as to how one might minimize it?
@striker12113 жыл бұрын
I do not recall any wobble on ours. If it did I would cut up an old credit card and use it as a shim in the gap between the male pipe and female fitting. If that didn't work I would exchange it for another one.

I actually bought this same tree last year as well. I don’t recall it being wobbly when I set it up last year but this year it is. Not sure if I am missing something. Even putting in the bottom section labeled 1, I am able to twirl it around even though its secure in the base.

@@mlee6254 I appreciate your reply as it was exactly what I was looking for. Our story is the same as yours. Purchased Christmas 2020, no wobble. Just put it up for Christmas 2021 and we have wobble. All parts assembled correctly and tree was stored exactly as it was shipped, in exact same box. I’m thinking we could could Costco and perhaps they’d replace it?? Thankful I only have one teen at home but if I had little kids I would be very concerned about their safety around a tree with this much wobble. We haven’t yet decorated it as we’re trying to decide how to proceed.

@striker12114 жыл бұрын
It took very minimal fluffing. I basically just shook the tree out and tweaked/bent maybe a dozen branches. I had a fake tree as a kid that was always bent into an unrecognizable shape during storage and then had to be reshaped meticulously... I'm glad I don't have to do that with this one.

Good morning, that information can always be found in the video description. Sometimes I say it in the video but I must've forgot this time. Thanks for watching. PS: This tree usually hits the sales floor for a few weeks and then goes on sale for $100 off in November. I still recommend the tree after years of wasting money on fake looking trees I feel this one is "for life".
