I’ll check next time but these seem to be regional at the moment. Costco used to only sell Traeger grills and pellets. Now I see other brands of pellet grills but haven’t checked for the house brand.
@DrTasteGoodBBQ2 жыл бұрын
That’s what someone else was saying that they might be regional. What part of the country are you in? I’ll see what I can find out on where they are and where they aren’t. Almost through a bag now and I haven’t been disappointed.

If you can ever get your hands on the BB Post Oak pellets, Its extremely hard to get outside of TX, Cant even get it on Amazon, but our local grocery store does. In Tx if your cooking on anything other than POst Oak then were not friends. :)

where are these pellets sourced from?

All I have for you is they are made in the USA. If I had to make a guess where the plant is I would say Arkansas.

These must be limited to certain areas. I don't see them online and they were not at my Costco when I checked today.

What area are you in? They are all over around here. I also saw them in Hawaii.

Great review brother!! I used to buy Pit Boss pellets but I found some Lumberjack which I really like a lot better. Also I like Weber pellets. I heard lumberjack makes those as well.
@DrTasteGoodBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The smokiest pellets I’ve tried are the cookinwood pellets. These ones are such a great value I can see using a lot of them. Picked up a couple more bags today.

The biggest mistake I made with my Yoder YS640 when I first got it was buying cheap pellets. I don't do that anymore. I'm partial to Lumber Jack pellets these days.
@DrTasteGoodBBQ2 жыл бұрын
To a point, I see your point. I wouldn’t call these cheep, but inexpensive. I would think that cheep pellets would be a bigger problem in cheep pellet smokers. I’m open to discussing….🍻

@@DrTasteGoodBBQ I'll take any team over a Washington team at this point. Also made some bear and beef jerky in my lockhart today for the first time after watching your video. Before I had only used a little big chief smoker for jerky. Only question I have at the moment is how did you keep the smoke tube going thru your session? Mine kept going out.
