Our Samsung refrigerator broke after 12 years and we needed a temporary replacement until we figure out our next one.
Found Midea brand in Costco. They had 2 sizes smaller one is 3.4 cubic feet for $99, and the 4.5 cu.ft for $179.
We got the bigger one as it had 2 doors and a decent size freezer.
Freezer on the 3.4 cu.ft was way too small.

I just purchased on june28th,24 and let it sit 24 hrs b4 pluging in after 3 hrs i check freezer is at normal temperature on thermoter but fridge is not after 3 hrs its reading 50 degrees . Im in lasvegas its 110outside but in garage around 90 . I probably will return after haveing 1 day only maybe thats why now costco selling in 2024 June 149$ regular price . If someone know how long it takes to get cool to normal temperature let me know I have dial on 3 thanks 😮

Same. Just got one at Costco for $150 and let it sit for 24 hours. The freezer gets cold (around 10F) but the refrigerator section is above 50F. Not safe for food but okay for soda. And this was indoors on the coldest setting.

yes, but the compressor heat usually evaporates the water.

What level do you put yours on to keep cans from freezing and bursting? We just bought this fridge, and have it just below 2, but our fridge thermometer still says it's 30 degrees, and there is frozen condensation on the back wall of the fridge

Hi! Looking at getting this for a college dorm. I noticed there’s only one thermostat-how does the freezer temp control work? Can it keep foods cold on the bottom but frozen on the top? Thanks for your help!

I keep it in the middle setting, there is no separate freezer control, but it keeps things frozen in the freezer

What temp do you put your fridge at? We had it on 2 and it just wasn't quite cold enough for drinks that we wanted. Yet put it up just one notch and it froze and burst a can

I bought this fridge last week and there is a complete build of ice on the back wall of the fridge. Spoke to customer support and they suggested I return the fridge. Will be returning it today. I liked the size of the fridge, so Im sad to return it. I've been googling to see if this was normal or if it will go away, but not finding too many answers.

No frost in my freezer so far, not sure if it has auto defrost

It's a partial automatic defrost. The defrost works to defrost the fridge/fresh food part, hence the drain hole is to melt frost into. The freezer does not, it will not build as much frost as a manual but will still need eventually to be defrosted. Just make sure to use plastic tools. You puncture it and it's a goner. No more fridge.

Not frost free. I'm set in the middle & have had to unplug to de-ice twice in 6 months. Garbage.

Let's not be too hasty. While it's annoying to unplug or scrape ice, manual freezers hold freezing temp better and save electricity. Though this is not the most efficient cause it partially defrosts (your fridge section).
