Pharmacist here.. I can confirm that potassium and vitamin K are 2 different things! 😂 Avocados have both vitamin K and potassium in them. Fun fact, avocados have a lot more potassium than bananas! Thanks for your content and the laughs!

Hi Kim, in order to have plants come up from store bought melons, they have to be mature. The watermelon seeds should be black, not white. The cantaloupe seeds, however, will be great! Also, let them dry completely for a few days before you plant any saved seeds. I have had great success growing melons this way and FYI, I grew a cantaloupe the first year that weighed 8 pounds!!!! We called her Big Mama...lol! Make sure to always save seeds from any fruits or vegetables that you love from the store or restaurant. I save seeds from Costco peppers and you'll get one plant from each seed. Loads of delicious colored peppers from each plant. I'm growing loads of jalapenos from one little pepper that I saved seeds from. Do this every year and you'll get hooked! Make sure that you water every day!!!!! If you have questions, I'm here:)

A lot of the time the produce you buy in the supermarket is grown in “hydro-plants” which can also make their seeds sterile. So like you said- it will grow the plant but won’t bear anything. Your best bet is to go to a nursery and buy a starter plant. I grow a peach tree in my back yard and everyone RAVES about peaches it produces because they are far better than store bought. It produces every other year- probably, no joke, well over 250-350 peaches and it is only a few years old. Love your videos!

You can order many things online to ship anywhere. I ship "care packages" from Costco to a family college student who has to do all her grocery shopping from a bicycle. Her nearest Costco is 3 hours away by car, so getting a big box of toilet paper is a treat. She likes the protein bars and drinks too. The shipping cost is built into the online item price, so it is more expensive than in the store. You can ship some frozen items too. My Costco is 1 hour away, so I only go once every month or two and I really have to insulate the cold and frozen items for the trip home, or just skip those items on hot days. BTW, when I ordered food shipped from Target, they sent me such dented cans that I could not open about 20% of them.

You know, I hate that people were commenting about Vitamin K and Potassium to try to "correct" you. Even if they were right (spoiler alert: they weren't), all it serves to do is make the person being corrected feel dumb and small. They actually aren't the same. Potassium's symbol on the periodic table is "K", so it IS a common confusion, but potassium is a mineral all on it's own, and Vitamin K is a seperate thing. Regardless, thanks for another chuckle-full video! "Wheel your hose all over tarnation" cracked me up. Love all the fun you bring to my mornings! Hope you're feeling great soon. 😊💕

Those produce keepers are the best. I bought from Costco when I saw them first time, almost one year ago, I have 3 packages. You can’t believe but they work. On the lid it’s a list of the veggies how to keep them (air flow, water), and on the bottom you can put water. I loveeee them, they really keep your veggies and fruits and greens fresh for a long time. I highly recommend them.

Oh 😳😍 Thank you for the honey Lime chicken recipe my kids love it so much 🥰 and they love NOTHING 😂😂 we chunk it up and skewer it and just bake them and it's amazing it gets like chard bits on the chicken yet it stays juicy and is just so good. I didn't even know they existed but I would bet it is less about them not being able to get through, though it might be part of it, and more about it messing with their vision. Most animals are confused by crossing lines and generally avoid it. The exception I've found is screened doors or windows, but I think it's only because they are trying to get out.

That pulled pork is my favorite "I don't know what to cook" meal. Throw it on baked potato, or make loaded french fries..so good. Any leftovers, throw it with some scrambled eggs the next morning, and it's the best breakfast taco ever. Excellent for breakfast freezer meal.

Yes, you can save the watermelon seeds. Just dry them on a paper towel before planting, but be careful. Watermelon takes over your yard. If you’ve got a large raised bed they should do fine. But if you plant in your yard, they will regenerate year after year and your yard will be watermelon vines basically instead of grass 😄

The white seeds are immature and will not germinate, only the brown/black seeds will sprout.

Fruit flies come up from drains so you can keep them stopped up, use a fruit net as someone else suggested, plus I use Hot Shot Flying Pest strip killer for those that won't leave...it permeates the home so might not be for you because of the kiddos. Love the bananas!

I feel for you, I had all day sickness with my baby’s too. And I didn’t have someone filming me, it would not have been pretty! I do have a tip for you totally off the subject, if you buy mint as a herb and plant it outside it will spread everywhere and take over your yard like a weed. Putting a little happing in your day

Love your videos! A few sourdough tips: unbleached rye flour is best for starting a starter. Also, de-chlorinate your water by boiling it and then letting it cool. Good luck!
