My oldest is 29 has a house of his own and a son and i still worry so it never goes away my youngest of my 3 boys is 22 and i always worry about them all driving and ya know lol its a mom thing you never stop worrying about your children

You are amazing woman. Never doubt yourself. My first concert was with my sister at Disney (Sister Sledge, SOS Band, and a ton of other bands) and my last concert was with my husband in Charleston WV and we saw James Taylor. Nothing but the best baby!!

I love that you said “life happens but things still need to be done” my daughter has pneumonia and has been in the hospital for three days now. Her father and I are running back and fourth from the hospital as well as taking care of our 2 other kids. Very exhausting. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you are a great mom. 5 kids are a lot of work, you don’t have to be perfect. Your kids won’t remember every little thing when they grow up. You try so hard every day, that’s what they will remember, you being there for them, not if all the laundry was folded and if the floor was spotless. You are doing great and you are raising wonderful children ❤

I hate to say it but I’ve learned I worry more now that all 4 of my kids are adults. It just got worse for me.

I have a brother inlaw that gets anxiety attacks when he can tell you when 1 of his kids or grandkids are having problems without them telling him so you can't hide anything from him

I’m a little confused as to why anything in your older kids rooms gets ruined at all. No consequences for this stuff? Fewer parties. Fewer after school activities. Fewer sleepovers. Less indulgence equals less stress. You have 5 kids and you constantly stretch yourself beyond normal limits. You can be a good mother and still give your kids more boundaries. You may like being busy but it’s taking a toll on you and you don’t see it. If you want to eventually be there for grandkids, you need to find some more balance. I learned by ending up on the hospital. Don’t wait that long! Please

It gets worse as they get older. My daughter will be 30 next month and she says I drive her nuts especially when she's going on a date. I tell her send me his info and pic if u have one, send me a pic of u so I no what ur wearing, message me his license plate number. She thinks I'm nuts I say nope I'm just a true crime junkie and I see to muchhhh. My son is 34 and just today I messaged him saying drive home slow because he has an hour drive and it's pouring out lol and every night I message both of them to kindly remind them to check and make sure the doors r locked, the stove is off, any low windows r locked, candles r all put out etc. I drive them nuts but I drive myself more nuts and say Jenn their fine don't message no more but I can't not do it because then I can't sleep my brain won't stop telling me the window is wide open, the candle is still burning near the open window which is near paper and the door is unlocked 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 so needless to say it NEVER stops!!! But I'll say if there ever is a night that I don't message them usually if I'm really sick they will message me to see if I'm ok 😂😂😂😂😂 because I didn't message them. So I may drive them crazy but it's a crazy they love 😊

A lovely home but remember it will never look the same again once you move into it as you say getting your life in order and it’s 2024 as I’m watching the saying is if your life’s not in order by 30 it never will be .
