WOW!!! This is wonderful to find! Great guitar tone and dynamicos here in music of such a much too underrated classical guitar hero as Napoleón Coste! So, is this an actual record label? Brilliant Classics is an understatement, but I've never heard of it.

Thanks for this incredible resource. Anyone who studies the classical guitar should know about this site. I wonder if the sound would be that different if played on a Stauffer design. I just checked out a recording of a classic on a decacorde. I wonder what Coste's music would sound on a replica of Coste designed decacorde.

He's the best romantic composer for guitar. Regondi and Mertz are excellent. Coste is unattainable. It's the opinion of mine, of course.
@PladderkasseАй бұрын
I like Coste as well, but I have to disagree. Regondi was by far a better composer and guitarist than both Mertz and Coste imho. He died too young to really make his mark and his output is a lot smaller then the two others., but the music we have shows his genius. His etudes blow all other romantic guitar etudes out of the water. His Nocturne op. 19, has to be the most epic piece of guitar music written in the romantic period.
@BeniaminoBassoАй бұрын
