Having been an Insomniac for over 40 years, I have found music like this a great aid.The music is unpredictable, so I am not anticipating the next note. Sleeping pills don’t work, music helps mask the shadows in my mind.

Mia figlia sgorge un luccichio nei miei occhi umidi e mi dice : “ Mamma , perché piangi!?” Con voce rotta dalla commozione risposi : “ Perché Dio , tra le infinite cose che ci ha regalo , ha aggiunto la musica che apre le porte dell’ anima e gli occhi all’ infinito .Perche questa musica mi commuove, tira fuori il bello che c’è’ in ognuno di noi e scaccia tutto ciò che fa male . Perché la musica rende liberi , leggeri , fa vibrare il cuore , apre le ali nell’ infinito ….e si potrebbe , appunto , continuare all’ infinito . The sound of the piano has a very luring effect- meaning that it keeps on increasing and decreasing, which makes me feel it's part of my study routine but not as much a part to disturb me or overpower my thoughts while writing.
