Yeah, our city had marked our sewer lateral on the street 15' from where it actually was. Dug down, no sewer! Brutal! Cost of doing business is right!

Used to all that work with my rubber tire backhoe. extendhoe could reach under the shorting jacks and lots of depth, been down 18 feet. In case of ground water put the 6" cap over the installed 4" clean out tee when dumping gravel to !. keep gravel out. 2. clean the water build up around the tie in for inspection. inspectors don't get overly excited with a little clean water.
