Ajay, for your final train, you took San-yo line from Mihara to Hiroshima. From google maps looks like there is another line Kure-line which would have taken 55 minutes more time but goes next the sea fr a long time with lots of islands coming in view.

Ajay super travelling experience by Different connecting Special Rapid trains from Kyoto to Hiroshima. All the connecting trains are starting from Adjacent platforms only. So need of FOB OR Escalator for change of Platforms. The train ride simply super. First one passed thru Sea Coastline. Ajay happy that your Japanese train friend liked the taste of Ribbon Pakoda . I agree if somebody is interested they can start a South indian Restaurant cum Snacks centre selling Mixture, Ribbon Pakoda, Thenkuzhal , Oma pudi etc. I am sure it will be a hit there. Happy that you have reached Hiroshima safely. i have also read about Hiroshima in my Geography Text books. Now it is a beautifully developed city.
