In 2015 Christmas and New Year's for two weeks was in Mexico City and Monterey very much in downtown area and fairly comfortable luxurious hotel room was much cheaper than in the US. The hotels were much better than I could afford in the US. Hard to remember but I think they included breakfast without additional costs. We ate breakfast there and don't think they charged us. I think we paid $40 a night .. I've stayed in hostels when I wanted to save money sometimes. They were very comfortable and good condition.

I know it's hard to list everything in one video but what's the prices for meals for a tourist who's on a budget ? Just eating at average not too expensive restaurant ? You did cover hotel room and hostel sort of. You said about $60 USD a week be fairly comfortable to eat out at restaurants somewhat regularly ? And are costs also increasing the past year or so like in the US ? Here very much so unfortunately almost everything. Groceries , eating out have risen fairly high like at least 30 % or more. . Petro almost 50%. Each restaurant meal here in San Antonio Texas starts at $6-8 not a huge one but ok average low end. $6 is fairly difficult to find really. At major fast food or other restaurant chains they've seemed to not raised prices quite as much . Because I suspect they already were charging plenty ..Gas ( Petro ) just went $3.09 per gallon. Gallon being a lil under 4 litters . I think Poland sells it by liters correct ? Gas varies quite a bit here in the US as do so many things. Very much liked your video.

Is poland cheap for australians?

Yes, it's cheaper

Mmmm Yeah would be alright I’d say. The pound here goes really far, then it’s the euro then the US dollar. I think though the Australian Dollar is weaker than the US dollar but you’d still live well I think.
