They are just so good. I can't keep up with the peddling on mine once I get over 25km/h and have been thinking of getting a larger pedal gear.

Great review! Very much appreciated the down-to-earth manner and pacing. Get tired of the specs being read off to me, but never getting a good sense of what it's like to ride. You've definitely captured that well. We'll done and thank you. 👏🏻

I bought a t20, in two weeks I did 500 km I'm satisfied with the performance in general, my doubt is the rain, I haven't seen any video talking about water resistance yet.

I got my eye on the coswheel CT20s. Looks like a beast with a 35ah battery. Just got so little good reviewers. You should get it. Really enjoy your videos!

Thanks! If they offer it. Can't justify buying a bike just for a review video, unfortunately. I only make around $30 in ad rev from these. Reselling the bike would recoup some of the cost, but won't compensate for the 30-40 hrs of my time to make the video.

Great review, great place to ride! I am curious to know which battery you were using to achieve that 40km ride, was it the 10, 15 or 20Ah one?

This will be my second E-Bike, at first I hesitated; but now there's nothing on my mind to tell me to not purchase it while I'm enjoying my Retirement at the age of 61.

So a question is…if you conk out of battery what is it like to just use pedal power? I have a very light Aventon Soltera which is pretty darned light and if I don’t turn on the power it is not nearly as easy a ride as a regular bike. I’m guessing that with those tires and that weight it cannot be a fun ride. I realize this isn’t the point of an E-Bike but stuff happens and I wonder how much of a slog it would be to get home without juice.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of the ride when testing without motor power, it rides just like a regular bicycle. This thing is ~80lbs, but as you can see, I have no problem even popping wheelies with pedal power only. I'm 42, smoked most of my life. I had 0 problems. With or w/o pedal assist. I'm not sure why anyone would make an e-bike more difficult to pedal with a dead batt. Not saying they don't, but it's kind of stupid to include pedals if they're that difficult to use. Pedal assist is exactly that - an assist. This is exactly the point of an e-bike - to pedal and/or use motor power to get the best of both worlds. If the motor can't assist, then the pedals need to work properly. If it doesn't, then it's not a proper e-bike imo. Motors were never intended to be incorporated with bicycles to compensate for bad designs. Pedal bikes aren't hard to design. Pretty basic stuff for over a century, but I understand that brain farts persist and people become victims of them. Whether you get this or not, to prevent having that problem in the future, check the sprocket ratios and compare with a conventional bike that you know you're comfortable riding. Count the drive and driven teeth if it isn't listed in the specs or contact tech support if it isn't clear. No harm in asking. But there's no sense buying something that's half as useful as it should be.

@@JamesBiggar I agree entirely. TBH I’ve never actually run my battery on my bike out but just for the hell of it did a bit of toodling around to see what it felt like without using the power and, as I said, it felt sluggish. I just assumed that it was a consequence of some kind of drag from the motor as it relates to the rear sprocket. The Soltera is around 40 lbs but for someone who has ridden a pretty damned light Precision chromoly framed mountain bike for decades it seems like more work. Those super fat tires must be more work but obviously not enough to trouble you. I have a super,short commute (8.5 km round trip) and whip back and forth at 32 kmh without (like you) busting a sweat. The fact that you can bomb around at 45 kmh is intriguing and somewhat alarming…and that range is spectacular!

Hi, i'm 1,92m. will I sit confortable on it for riding on pedal power?
@JamesBiggar

Absolutely. I'm only around 1.8m tall and the bike is almost too tall for me. Pedal power only is not a problem though

Comes with fenders, showed and explained in the video. Never used them as a kid, don't see a point in changing that preference now unless I was forced to commute in the rain. But to each their own.

@@JamesBiggar yeah, that is what surprised me. I could think of no down sides of having them. Takes just a small puddle to be splashed. Might be still worth style points

They have more power, but they're also motorcycles and not pedal assist. This is an excellent bike for what it is. Works great, build quality is great, range is great. Could use another inch or two in travel, but other than that, there's no way I could match this quality in my home workshop. I need a TIG lol

Never understood these main character comments. What you mean to say is that you prefer more power. For others, this is perfect. It's a pedal assist e-bike. Buy a proper motorbike, dude. Pedals on anything >1kW is just silly.
