Good video mate. I remember back in the day seeing a magenta Sapphire Cosworth with that 2.4 block. They actually badged the car up as a RS2400, and it was an animal. Hope you get to do a video on that RS500 once it's got that lump in and is finished. Enjoying the videos mate, and look forward to more of the same

hope your lass packed some nice sarnies - bit of a trip out - but well worth it that stripped engine brought back memories - started my apprenticeship taking those engines apart - except the heads only had 8 valves - because they were in transits + cortinas with 80 bhp max ,- 700 horse out of basically the same block, - good old pinto....

Let the bloke know u can buy standard escort cosworth wheels from ford off the shelf, they brought them back as a heritage thing. Not that expensive, the only problem is u cant get the centre caps from ford but u can get 3d printed ones easy enough.
