Thanks for the tag Duncan! _Christmas on Ganymede_ sounds like a great series of science-fiction short stories. _Journey of the Pink Dolphins_ sounds like a great read. A bit of sound issues at around 5:19 - or since it's the the Halloween season - maybe something more! :)

I did this tag a few weeks back, but thanks all the same. Never heard of Christmas on Ganymede, will keep an eye out for that one. Bought my first Julian May a few months back- always used to see them in the bookshops- best place to start?

The Saga of the exiles for Julian May (The Many Colored Land bK 1), it's one of those series that is SF but at points feels like Fantasy. I think the series is often overlooked because it got caught up in the Fantasy Boom of the early 80's.

There is a lot of Good fantasy from that period and quite a bit that seems to be largly forgotten unfortunately
