U should try to use torches as much as possible around your house and then they won’t spawn much or just give your house area a boundary filled with torches to light it up .....main thing is that u need light to stop there spawning .....so just place some torches on land as far as u think is comfortable

I can decorate caves and stuff like that, I can give helpful tips: I use leaves and place them at random locations for some greenery in the cave. I also use flower pots (the ones made from bricks and the one you can build with trapdoors) If you are in a cave that is in a mountain have windows peaking out to the outside world. Have different levels to your cave or underground home and make it feel underground. I hope maybe the tips helped you a little bit. :D ~Byee!

I built this in survival with my own little modifications. I added a fireplace using a campfire with a chimney that allows the smoke to come out the top. I made it slightly bigger and i used a spruce door. I thought it looked more like a door you would make out in the woods i also used iron bars instead of glass panes. I really liked the technique you used with the stairs for windows. Ive never seen that so i kept that in the build and will for sure use that in future builds. I showed my friends and they were a little jealous but not too much. Their houses are bigger but i dlnt need a big house. I just wanted something new than my regular 7x7 house in survival. It was a little bit of a grind gathering some materials but not too bad. Anyways thanks for the tips and keep it up. Youre doing a great job on these
