My advice for the living room is to change the wall colors. It’s like a cold colour and your sofa and chair is warmer. Maybe a warmer colour on the wall 😊

Gemma! I am a mum of twin boys now 10! Also a military wife so I spent many years, months and days feeling like just a mum and quite frankly I still feel like my life is divided to before and after I had kids. I totally get what you mean by losing yourself because we prioritize meeting babies needs so much we kind of forget about ourselves. I just want you to know that it's also ok to admit to yourself that it is hard and sometimes overwhelming. I remember feeling the pressure to be the 'perfect mum' and I was just getting burned out until I realised no one is perfect. You are doing a fab job, but make sure Jamie whisks Noah on a little walk now and then alone so you can unwind too...ahh priceless moments ☺️

Love your new sofa! But if you have an opening in that back wall your sofa is going to be in the way of the opening? Also think about how the cosy vibes will change… we done this with our kitchen/living and I miss having my cosy living room it’s so open now and feels so different, plus smells from cooking get stuck in the carpet sofa etc especially if you make soup 😅 granny house smell 😆xx

I totally understand how you feel about the surgery. I need to have my dog Wally’s knee surgery in December and we have to crate him for 8 weeks as well. It’s so hard to think about but it’s best for them in the long run. So happy you’re getting back into things you enjoyed before sweet baby Noah as well! ❤

Hi Gemma love the new sofa. I would say keep the current armchair it’s gorgeous but switch out the new swivel chair to a different room as the shape clashes with the structured shape of the sofas. Also I think a nice rustic/farmhouse type of coffee table would look better in front of the fire place. Lastly tuck you rug under the sofa slightly ❤xx

My opinion if its wanted I think the open arch would take away the coziness of ur room. Maybe put double doors on with glass panels so that u can close it of in the winter evenings but can still see through to ur lovely dining area and patio. So the space feels alot more open and bigger.? Also why don't you put some wall art or ornaments in your livingroom. It's lovely but feels unfinished to me.

Wow.. the sofa and chairs look fabulous. Really modern, sophisticated and cosy. Lovely vlog. Typical things to feel after becoming a mother because your life is never "just your life" again..you will ALWAYS be mum. Gemma. Noah always prefers to look to his left. He was a c-section.. i would get his neck checked out. My first son, that was an emergency c-section, had a blockage in his neck and did the same. The specialist showed me.. he turned him is specific way and in one direction he lifted his head and the opposite direction he hung his head. The therapist/chiropractor removed the blockage and then he moved his head in both directions properly.

We watched the good nurse last night it was really good really enjoyed it, and don't ever feel bad for wanting what you had before you became a mum, when you dedicate your whole life to your children you do lose the things you liked doing before, me and my partner used to go to the lakes a lot before we had our boys and we havnt been able to go back since because our money just goes on bills and rent and everything they need, I still get to do the odd thing but nothing like before, so I understand that being a parent changes things, but I wouldn't change my boys for the world I love them with my whole heart and they are going to grow up before I know it so I'm concentrating on this time I have with them before they get older and want to leave me, im getting so emotional even writing this, just cherish the time you have with Noah and you'll get that time back for yourself one day❤️
