Earlier today I was watching Gemma Louise 's autumn shop with me and i saw a few commenting and telling her that she should live in the moment and not rush, some even said that she doesnt have content and so she's posting about autumn and that was just so pathetic to read and hurtful. Not everyone of us loves summers and wants to live in the moment of summers. Ofcourse i have days in summers where i live in the moment but my love for autumn and winters will always be much higher than summers. I get seasonal depression during summers and it's not cool. In that case, I'm grateful for creators like you and Gemma , who have kept the spirit of autumn high and never fail make us feel cozy, calm and relaxed. I'll just say don't listen to anyone who says " ohh its only july, that's too early for fall", keep doing what you're doing because i love watching you. I would watch your videos even if you did only autumn and winter content, because that's exactly what i love. I don't like watching people's summer content cause that makes me anxious, seeing them go out have fun and be energetic in summers whereas I'm the opposite, so i hate those content. I love you and your content and please don't ever stop making these. 🌧️🧦🥐🍁🕯️🤎🤎🤎🤎 Also do you ship your candles to India? I really wanna buy them 🕯️🤎

Gemma's channel is much bigger than mine, and people can get really nasty 🥲. She's the sweetest person, a mom to a toddler. It's beyond me how people think it's alright to leave hurtful comments about something that doesn't affect them whatsoever.

I love that there are other autumn lovers like me who don’t enthuse after constant sunshine and heat. I love autumn and winter especially when it’s wild weather outside, blustery winds and driving rain. I used to walk a half hour every day in the wildest of weather to work and back and was constantly drenched but it was rewarded with an overwhelming feeling of hygge that was worth it!

Here in Finland, the cosy, soft, and warm autumn light was present last week for the first time this year. 🍁🍂 For me, it marks the slow transition towards autumn. I am an autumn person and my favourite thing throughout the year is to observe the changing of the light when the seasons are changing. I am enchanted every time I notice it for the first time each season, from the warm and bright summer light to the soft and golden autumn light and sharp winter light to that harsh, white spring light. It makes my heart sing.

I live in the Caribbean where Autumn does not exist and yet it's my favourite season. Summers here can be brutal and the threat of hurricanes is always looming. I love when things cool down and I can get sort of cozy. I burn candles and if I had a fireplace, I'd burn that too even though it never gets that cold here. It's about that calming state of mind more than anything.

A tip/trick I've learned to make instant coffee taste amazing like coffeehouse coffee (I use instant coffee every day I like it so much) is to boil it instead of just pouring hot water over it. I've got a lil pan I use especially for my coffee, and I boil a teaspoon and a half of instant coffee per cup. I put my powdered creamer and dab of milk in the cup while it's boiling (keeps it from making the coffee cold) and then pour the coffee over when it reaches a boil - really makes a big difference!

I couldn't agree more with what you stated regarding autumn being a place of comfort for a lot of people. The past few years, my family has had several deaths that took place in spring and summer, which has made those seasons a bit difficult, to say the least. We just lost a family elder this July, a week after my birthday. Needless to say, I look forward to summer being over. I've always loved fall because I simply enjoy the transition of the seasons, but as I've gotten older and have dealt with many more life difficulties, it's absolutely become more of a season of comfort for me. Your soup and foccacia look yummy! Thank you for giving perspectives to those who may not have considered an alternative way of thinking to their own.

Wow, that Foccacia looked amazing. You are a bread master chef I think. I love Autumn and I understand your comments about suggested "live in the moment" comment, because for me I relate to your response in the same way when people say "be positive". Life can be a carefully carved balance when you are feeling in a good place. Just like no two days can be the same, life cannot always be positive glory or our favourite season. There is always the good and the bad, the yin and the yang and the seasons of life and weather. My favourite seasons are Autumn and Spring, followed closely by Winter. But thank goodness in our different worlds we also experience Summer (pretty dry and hot where I live in the Southern Hemisphere of South Australia). As each season passes, we can look forward to the change/joy of the next, but there surely is absolutely nothing wrong with having a preference. You showcase it beautifully with your slow living, warm and inviting videos. Thank you 🙏. My only challenge is watching the beautiful scenes in the video plus what you share as well as reading the text at the bottom of the screen.....so easy to miss one or the other. Love your videos 💖

" The stores are decorating for fall in the summer, and skip Thanksgiving, decorating for Christmas during Thanksgiving season.
