as far as i know, the 1995 movie adaptation is the best received persuasion adaptation, and i can definitely vouch for its quality! definitely nails the atmosphere (whereas the netflix one twists it A LOT... though i say judge it for yourself

Such a cozy reading vlog. For april, I also read Fourth wing. It’s hard to read such a hyped book but it really was so good. There’s something about sitting in a bookshop reading a good book and drinking coffee. It sounds so romantic that you got engaged in Oxford, one of my favourite places. I recently ordered a book from Waterson's because I liked their cover SO MUCH better than the U.S. cover. The book is Emilie ? Otherland; #2 in the Emilie ? Encyclopedia Of Fairies. It was quite expensive and then the shipping g to Mi. US was $12.50!! I justified it be cause the cover is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and my birthday is next mont, I know it will take a while to get here, so I will hold it as a birthday present for myself!😊 I put almost the same items in my Book Bag/Tote. I don't have long hair so there is no need for a hair clip 😐 I use the arrow book tabs too! I can't bring myself to highlight any of my books except my bible or a devotional. The edition of the Secret Garden you got is gorgeous! I read that in March and just LOVED it! A keeper and re-read. I keep a Book Journal of every book I read, but it is nowhere as extensive as your "comp." one. Actually I need a bigger one because I can't fit in all I want! By the way, your ring is BEAUTIFUL! When are you getting married? I want to get a small tray for my tea similar to yours😊. All my tea trays are large. Thanks, I really enjoy your channel. Your Spring is so much further ahead than here. Today was high 30's, there are very few flowers coming up except for facts and tulips, no buds on trees, no green grass, very windy and snowshowers today!!😑😑😑

stick to the older movie adaptations for jane austen books. netflix's persuasion is definitely not it. great vlog

Persuasion is my favourite book by Jane Austen. Do not watch the 2022 version it’s absolute rubbish. My favourite movie version is the 1995 version highly recommend. I feel like the characters resemble what Jane Austen was trying to convey the most. The acting was fantastic and while they aren’t the most pretty pair for movies they won this girlies heart.
