(Props for being dressed in Giants Orange and Black haha.) I've told my husband, who never knows what to buy me for a gift, "Just go to Cottage Gardens. I'll love ANYTHING you buy there."

Love Cottage Gardens for a variety of natives and veggie starts. I started with them when the founder couple opened in a different location many moons ago. This spot is beautiful and their plants are well cared for. My zone is 10A up the coast but I never walk away from this place empty handed.😂

I just love it when you have guests, but is it possible to have them use a mike? It is very hard to hear them at times.
@RC-mc6rc9 ай бұрын
I knew I wasn’t the only one! Please Janey before you do another interview style video get another microphone. You are a VERY good interviewer. Unfortunately we can’t hear the guest 😊
@proudmomma70959 ай бұрын
I have heard those microphones are really expensive … but what helps me is to put in my headphones. I can hear much better then. Thanks Janie for all you do!
@CodyMiller-yi1sw9 ай бұрын
I came to say the exact same. I feel like they have a lot to offer but I can’t hear anything they say or it just sounds like mumbles. I like the interviews but would love to hear what they have to say.
@lauramason92509 ай бұрын
I came here to ask the same thing. I have to turn the volume on my headset up so high to hear the other people, that it distorts Janey voice. I'm very hard of hearing and the headset helps with other KZbin videos I watch. I tried turning on captions, but they don't make much sense. I love videos with Robbie, absolutely love him!!

Great tour, Janey and Robbie be careful where you plant the Fava beans, they among other beans can be very toxic to dogs if they eat them raw or leaves/stems. I grow all my toxic plant varieties in my front yard where my dogs don't roam so it's safe to grow them there out of reach. All those veggies and lettuces make me want to make a salad :)

Jealous!!! Would love to go there! Amazing garden, so much to see. I hope you go back in Spring. Janey, you can make your own cement balls and planters, look it up on utube, pintrist for pointers. I think you need some in front of your office and zigzag planters. You have so many places they would look great! Would love Fava beans, have only grown scarlet runners. Love vinning/climbing plants . Would love the roses, but sooo expensive! Enjoy your antiquing, wouldn't mind seeing that either!

Yay, I have been dying to go to Cottage Gardens, it is on my calendar for this year. This sneak peek was so fun. Fine Gardening is one of my favorite garden magazines too! I am on the hunt for some tree roses and one called Raspberry Cupcake so I see a trip looming for me. If you want a muddy rose that is gorgeous and blooms better than Distant Drums go with Koko Loko instead. Honey Dijon has been on my list for awhile. The little plant in the rocks by the table and chairs looks like Elfun Thyme, it makes a great groundcover.
