I love how, in every quail video I watch, there’s always that ONE chick that’s crying for help as loud as he can. One of my chicks does that now, if things get too quiet, or it can’t find a sibling. This was my first ever to hatch- I keep a radio on constantly for it. 🐣🐥

Thanks for al the updates. Any tips on introducing quails to other quails? I have 2 males that are now separated due to fighting but going to get a bunch of girls... put them all in and hope for the best?

In my experience, sadly when you have two males already going at it, its really hard to stop them even if they're in with plenty of females.

my first batch of eggs onlly 2 hatched so i have 2 males 6weeks old. have second batch in incubator hopeflly will have more hatch and some hens. I love quail they are so beautiful and easy to raise. my eggs were shipped in and many broke in shipping. so hopeuflly will get some hens out of these last eggs and can have my own eggs to hatch later.

That's what I'm looking forward to having my own eggs to hatch. Shipped eggs half of them were rotten but I have five and the brooder.
