For heat I used my seedling heat mat, put layers of newspaper in the bottom and on top. Double duty product!

In the incubator, I put muslin under rug non slip which is similar to draw lining but larger holes. It has worked well.

Could you tell me more about the pro and cons of a Heat lamp vs a Clamp Lamp. I noticed on the video that it appeared that your clamp lamp rested on the cage, while your heat lamp did not.

Question I have chicken egg and goose egg in the incubator together with the quail that are about to hatch in 9 days is it okay to leave the eggs there when the quails hatch?

I did my first lockdown today But brooder has plastic bottom So chicks could get bad legs I live in Thailand should I put tissue paper under the eggs or pine shaving to stop them slipping around

I also had two mishaps. I had 230 eggs in my gqf. And I pulled them out on day 18. A lot died from heat stroke. Then I put them in my shed. But even 2 heat lamps wasn’t enough sometimes , I lost more. So, I learned with a large hatch to take them out when dried off , and not even a heat lamp is enough. I should’ve took the new borns inside temporarily. Thank you for your videos.
