This is previously unreleased and raw camera footage of what would become my first episode of Couch Riffs podcast. I was super happy when Matt accepted my invitation to come guest on Couch Riffs and he remains an inspiring musical figure to me and many others. His show Guitar Moves always blew my mind and was largely motivational in my pursuit of doing Couch Riffs. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

I saw Chavez open for Guided by Voices in NC in '95 and they were so good. And I'll never forget Matt sitting off to the side of stage and singing along to all the songs while GBV were playing. That always made a big impression on me. He was as big a fan as all the rest of us despite being so talented himself. That always comes across in all of his interviews too. Thanks so much for making this available!

Cool video, but the quality is pretty low (360p). Hopefully you can get a video camera that supports HD, or better, in the future. Video quality aside, thanks for the upload.
