Cougar Crest Trail in Big Bear, CA. This beautiful hike and trail is on the south shore of big Bear Valley. It connects to the PCT trail. Absolutely stunning in incredible. Just over 5 miles of pure bliss.

I haven't been on a hike in a long time and this is known as a family trail but the first half was all uphill, but it wasn't that bad. I think you and your families would have an amazing time, especially when you get to some of these views.

Just thinking out loud here but I get breathless sometimes like you, Nikk. I have some allergies to plants and what not. Sometimes those allergies cause me to have bouts of asthma. I carry a inhaler of Albuteral at all times just in case. It's weird too because I don't have asthma like all the time. Just thought I would share. 👍

there's a trail over near Baldwin that goes up to something called Crystal Hill or Crystal mountain where you can supposedly find quarts crystals. I can't believe how quickly the snow melted up there! You guys did great on that hike! it's inspiring me to get out and walk some in beautiful nature.

The Eye of God (quartz monolith), Crystal Mountain, what's left of the mining town of Doble and other sites, old ruined cabins. There are so many things I wanted to explore when I went up there that one time but the weather didn't allow it:) I also love the visits to the different facilities around big bear--like the zoo, magic mountain, etc.

Hiked the portion from Delamar Mountain (where i was surprised to see Camry & Accord cars, how they Off-Road) to the dirt road. Saw Big Bear Lake from the trail. My favorite PCT trail part was Onyx Summit to Coon Creek Group Cabin. Last time i hiked it i saw the Predators in Action tiger compound but it was already sold or moved.

@@bigbearweatherandmore6621 Its a rough dirt road 5 miles up to Coon Creek Group Cabin where road dead ends into. Panoramic Views too as you are on the top by the cliff. I drove it in my small 2wd truck, few times over the years. Last time i think 5 years ago it looked more worse, wondering how is now after Storms. Definitely you will love Coon Creek Cabin area then hike PCT up towards Onyx Summit I went once just halfway or less can see amazing views of San Gorgonio. Going opposite direction, PCT towards San Gorgonio wilderness was fun adventure and more Shade.

After hiking alone many times by Onyx Summit, the Locals told me Black Bears are there.... But not worried, I would just scare them away. Black Bears would bother hikers to get their food, backpacks on the San Gorgonio hike at Halway Camp going from Forest Falls to San G.

Also you know what would be awesome if you ever had the time you should do a video from big bear to, running springs, lake arrowhead, and crestline and see how green it is everywhere? that would be a lovely video to express our San Bernardino mountains in case people watch this out of country. 😎 I also wanted to tell you that we are in the end times not sure you know what that means but if you look up in revelation in the bible it talks about the great Euphrates river will dry up. And if you look up the Euphrates river it's almost dried up and seasons are changing, like I said there will be a big snow storm some time soon and it might even be in the summer. Second coming of Christ is very near and if your not ready you'll be going to hell, you have to be born again to see the kingdom of heaven not just believing in God, God will bring the people to heaven that are already born again right now and you will see the people in the grave swoop up in the sky and be spirits. Then the people left down here will have to go through the rapture and trust me my friend you do not want to go through the rapture, look up the rapture if you have the time too see how horrible it will be, have your wife Rachel talk about it to you too. It's called god's judgement on the world and then after everything is done God will burn this earth with fire, and will turn into nothing but dust and the universe we see will perish. God will be making a whole new world when we are in heaven and a whole new universe for his children that gave their lives to him.
