Could a private resort hold SE Wisonsin's best cross country trail? | Alpine Valley

Alpline Valley Resort is probably one of the most popular ski resorts in southern Wisconsin. In the summer the resort offers cross country mountain bike trails that thread through the run and the back side woods. There is a $5 per day fee or a reasonable $25 per season fee for usage.
Considering SE Wisconsin is extreme flat, Alpine Valley proves to be one of the hillest systems in the area. The Long Loop (Blue - Intermediate) shown here is around 7 miles and a 1000ft of climbing and descending. Combine the additional black trails and do it all and you have around 14 miles and 1700 feet of climbing. Mix it up and loop it a few times and you can easily do over 4000 ft of climbing if you have the stamina. It is actually a pretty tough and demanding course. Don't let the apparant smooth cross country nature fool you!

You’ve missed a whole section at the end. Essentially it takes you back up to the top where you started and ends with some fun downhill

Yes I know. This video came about from testing two bikes back to back. There’s also the downhill and jumps at the beginning as well.

A jump with a landing above the tip of the jump(the lip) is a step up, a jump going down is a step down and a drop is a drop. A jump with no gap between lip and landing is a table and a jump with a gap is called a gap jump.
