That little fan was made in Canada... Ecofan - the original heat powered stove fan - was developed in the Bruce Peninsula, an area in Ontario, Canada. Canadians understand a cold winter, but the Bruce Peninsula can be particularly brutal. As such, a wood stove can make all the difference on those days when the cold sinks into your bones and you just can’t get rid of the chill. Getting the heat from a wood stove to circulate faster, and stretching the life of your wood pile make the Ecofan an invaluable addition in living your best winter life.

I don’t know if you folks tire of my comments. I hope it helps the channel. It’s nice to see how you are getting along week by week. We have heifers that lay backwards too, they don’t see freestalls until after they calve the first time. Most of them figure it out though and as they grow, they usually prefer to lay the right way. Cold here today and this week in southern Ontario. I think we often have similar temps and snow fall.

Beautiful bread! Glad to see the guys got some time to play in the snow. Back in the early 90's I learned to take a frozen pork roast, put it in the crock pot, cover with picante sauce and just let it go all day. Great pulled and served on noodles or rice. Hi Ronda, Great Video. Quite a roaring fire you have going. I'm about 120 miles East of you and it snowed 1/2 ft of heavy wet snow very quickly just at dark Friday. It bent the shrubs and trees right over. I was looking out the window at Lightening and hearing Thunder-Snow, (very rare) when suddenly the Lightening really got much brighter: Because my house went dark: Our electricity turnt off. So I had to find my way out into the garage to set up the generator, thank goodness for LED lights on cell phones. I don't have to look for a flashlight in the dark anymore. And for the next 24hrs it was generator time. Today, Sunday, it's sunny and very bright out there, but it's only 8°F/ -13.3°C and windy. We're supposed to be cool and windy for the next week, so it's Winter. Time for "MINT" Hot Chocolate Milk and Cake Donuts while warming up by the wood stove. Thank you for inviting us into your farm life, it's always interesting to see what it's like in the day-to-day life at Acres of Clay dairy farm. It's always a treat, an American treasure to see you and your family. Take care & we'll look for you again. ben/ over in Hartland, Mi.

Good Morning Ronda, The fire looks so invitingly comfy do you get the aroma of the wood burning? I see you got snow and more falling As i get older and older i have come to realize i don’t enjoy the snow when i was younger 😢 but i know what you mean by being on a Dairy Farm you have to get out to feed the Moo Moo Mamas and the babies, we had snow but the rain we got washed it away, I’m glad Seth drove Mackenzie to work so that she wouldn’t have to take a chance on driving herself and have something happen while on the road But after all your chores are done you can get back into the kitchen where it’s warm and do some baking I too wish i could get the aroma of your baked goods and the fire in the wood-stove well, be safe and stay warm❤😊
