could blastoise ex be meta? (temporal forces gameplay)

blastoise ex has pretty high hp and does good damage so i wanted to find out if its any good. someone was doing decent with a palkia deck with blastoise online (i couldnt find it again to give the person credit) so i took their list and made it more focused around blastoise and played a bunch of games and tweaked it until i thought it was good enough

I ran a Blastoise EX build with Bibarel for Indy. I was so close to making Day 2, and ended up 5-3-1.

o nice! 5-3-1 is pretty good, so close to day two but thats a solid record. was it just blastoise as the attacker? i thought about trying something like that but ended up on the pidgeot

@@sixpokemanstcg I run 2-2 Palkia Vstar with it, similar to most deck list. I run a lot of ball searches to maximize consistency. Palkia Vstar is such a great early attacker. My wins were against Charizard and Arc decks. My three losses were against two lost box decks and one Gardevoir deck.

that makes sense, lost box and gardy seem like they could be rough matchups for sure. i wonder if canceling cologne would make the matchups better, that combo can be hard to hit tho so idk

I went undefeated in swiss at my league cup with Blastoise ex. The bibs build is far superior.

with no pidgeot at all? i tried with a 1-1 bibarel i think it was but never tried without the pidgeot cause it seemed good. do you run it like a charizard bibarel deck but with blastoise instead of charizard?

@@sixpokemanstcg no so I'm still a going first deck, no arven package although an arven would be nice. I run a 3-1-3 Squirtle line 2-2 palkia line 2-2 bib line and rad Greninja and skwovet to reset my hand and dig
