@@llmamacoll He doesn’t simply tank it. He just heals fast enough so that Sukuna’s cuts don’t kill him and uses simple domain/falling blossom emotion to survive. It’s not like Gojo is tanky enough to just stand there do nothing and survive. He would die pretty quickly that way.

Sensui while holding back caused an earthquake in Japan alone and even stated that 1/5 of his power could destroy the human realm, Gojo hard stops at the Chapter Black Arc. Especially with Kuwabara unlocking his dimension sword

Just a note about Gojo's speed scaling, IIRC the mach 3 statement was said to have been just for the sake of showing how Naoya was a lot faster, rather than an actual calculated speed or anything. If Naoya was moving at mach 3, Goodwill Maki should've been able to react to his movements since she was able to catch a revolver bullet near-point blank lol. Anyway the lightning levels of speed are fairly accurate for the higher level characters, with Sukuna and Gojo possibly being FTL or close to light speed since a weakened Sukuna was able to dodge Kashimo's EM wave attack. You can chalk that up to the "spark" from the technique or whatever, but this was a much weaker Sukuna, so it's fair to assume he's a lot faster when he's not half dead. Gojo very likely scales above whatever speed you get for Sukuna there, since he was very confidently beating Sukuna in hand to hand combat despite Mahoraga helping. Great video regardless, keep up the quality content!

Sukuna went on to get hit by a Sonic blast right after dodging the EM waves... I feel like Gege simply didnt know how fast EM Waves were, screwed up his speed scaling like he stated he did with Maki.

I mean anything below mach 20-ish is below what Goodwill Maki should be capable of reacting to, and anything below lightning speeds is below what the higher tier characters should be capable of. If you want to say the sonic blast is an accurate speed scaling despite that, then sure, but we've got fairly consistent scaling above those values with a handful of statements that don't quite fall in line with the rest. As far as I'm concerned, lightning speeds is the minimum you can reliably scale most high-level JJK characters, with some possibly being FTL or close to it.

There are no FTL characters in the series, also a bullet from a rifle is not even close to mach 3 let alone a revolver, even at point blank it's still about a third of the speed and maki knew where the shot was coming from to catch it, with naoya that wasn't the case until she used her enhanced perception.

Almost every calc I've seen for Maki catching that revolver bullet (with her being off-guard and not expecting an attack, btw) shows her moving at AT LEAST mach 7 or above. Feel free to do your own calculations with actual numbers, but I'm gonna go with the general consensus until you can prove it's wrong lol. Also if a bullet is moving at any speed, it's going to require movements a lot faster than the bullet to move and entire arm up with enough precision to catch that bullet. But sure, only top tiers are capable of clearing mach 3 speeds despite Hakari reacting to lightning, Sukuna dodging EM waves and Kenjaku reacting to a black hole. People like you who clearly haven't read the series are why JJK characters get scaled so low. Again, you're more than welcome to explain the above feats despite all of those characters being only slightly above mach 3 by your logic, but until you manage that, please refrain from spreading objectively false information, it only makes you look dumb.

VS Battles Wiki says Attack Potency: Large Building level; Range: Several Meters. Also would hieis punches that would be infused by the darkness flame technique be able to harm him due to it being demon energy? Not well versed in yyh but the only 2 things we've seen bypass infinity are domain amplification which is basically opening a domain around your fist in a domain but cancels the users technique and Sukuna's world slash which cuts the world itself so it's target is space itself not Gojo

kuwabaras sword, toguro's soul suck, the idon box, the adaptability beast pills, are the only things really getting past infinity in dark tournament but there are a bunch of characters in sensui and three kings arc that get past it easily

No? The only way infinity has ever been broken is through the use of hyper specific jujutsu techniques(like domain amplification) or specific cursed tools such as inverted spear and black rope. You can't just force your way through infinity.

If we consider the "quest class" types (Kurama and Karasu), being able to create an object should bypass infinity (since it's just appearing, not moving), so creating a bomb on Gojo's body could at least potentially damage him if you think that Karasu can hit that hard, or in turn, one of Kurama's plants/rose whip hitting that hard if he summons it on Gojo

the same for Hiei summoning the black flame dragon, it is explicitly summoning since it's from the pits of the spirit world, so it should arguably be able to be summoned onto Gojo's body, allowing for the damage to at least start, assuming Hiei's speed is fast enough to reach him before being purpled

Kashimos CE is a little confusing cause he’s stated as “the god of lightning” and his attacks are referred to as lightning attacks a majority of the time but also there where multiple instances where he says he’s gaining “electrical charge” which does imply electricity to me. I think gege refers to his attacks as lightning because it’s a heavy electrical discharge in a similar vain to how lightning discharges and hits the ground from a cloud, but the actual trait of his CE is electricity, which allows him to create his lightning.

5:57 you also messed up here, hakari on jackpot has faster reaction speed than Gojo, most of the timw he chooses not to dodge some attacks to catch his opponents of guard, it wasn't the case with the lightning but that's what he does, because he doesn't have to commit time to heal on jackpot as opposed to regular reversed curse technique.

Pausing a little into the video - you say the lightning speed feats in yuyu are inconsistent which is completely reasonable yet you could absolutely make a similar argument for the lightning timer feats in jjk to not make any sense. It took Gojo 5 minutes to kill 1000 transfigured humans in a relatively small area during shibuya and he was winded afterwards, implying he wasn't intentionally going significantly slower to not harm civilians.

For speed scaling in jjk Gege made a mistake which he admitted and retconned with the Mach 3 statement. Examples pre awakening maki caught a bullet point blank which is faster than Mach 3. Also kashimo who has light speed attacks is not comparable to gojo

Toguro, Hiei, and Yusuke all have the power and speed to just crush Gojo's skull into a million pieces, but without having a way to bypass infinity, they can't really hold true to it. kashimo didn't struck Hakari with lightning because lightning isn't even "avoidable", it's literally impossible to react to lightning because lightning come both from the "sky" (so Kashimo) and the target (so Hakari). Maybe "in-universe" it was lightning but you can't take it and say "yeah it's as fast as lightning" because it doesn't even have the same property.

There is one important thing you didn't address about toguro. Toguro has to keep constant control over his body otherwise his body will just start absorbing the soul of those around him it's likely that if unlimited void works on toguro his body will just absorb gojo soul. There is also the fight against team uragotori momotaro who has the ability to gain invulnerability to any technique. Or hiei and genkai who have ability to absorb energy.

Toguro wins due to better speed/stats scaling. Toguro is an upper B class demon and scales way above a D class Hiei who dodged Yusuke’s spirit gun which acted as a ray of light according to the author. But sukuna can definitely win (via Hax) if Toguro doesn’t take it seriously.
