within a couple of weeks i picked up all 3 you mention second hand for just over 50 pounds each: - ftx bugsta (carnage with different body shell and tires) with a busted but functional servo, bent but functional cvd, and broken front bumper - ftx vantage 2.0 from hock shop, great condition except for the spur and pinion - vrx octane xl (sold as ftx outlaw) well used with a broken sway bar lower (worth 1 pound) i didn't intend to buy three cars, but i think it wasn't a bad decision. i'm not going near those alloy hopups unless I win the lotto tho!

I almost agree with you. The FTX Tracer MT brushless is half the price. Runs for at least half an hour on the stock battery and seems to be virtually indestructible.

i have maverick quantum and soon i will get a lipo 3s but i don't know what charger to get, any suggestions?

Hi there as long as it’s a balance charger you’ll be fine I just brought one from Amazon nothing special but it does the job. The quantum is great on a lipo.

Need some help please, iam new to RC cars. I have a brushless ftx carnage and my son tried to connect the charging cable from the battery into the visible ports of the receiver (etronix pulse 3 channel receiver). Channel 1 and 2 is used. From what I can see channel 3 which is still available is where he's tried to connect. Silly thing, it wasn't starting so he saw what looked like a male and female connection and tried connecting. There was a spark and some smoke. What has he fried? The receiver? I just bought a new battery but still not working. Appreciate any advice

The receiver will be fried for sure! It will need replacing.

Is the carnage and vantage bodies interchangeable? Chassis are same are they not? Have the vantage brushless and thinking two different bodies could be poor mans way of getting two cars 😂.
