Even so, spider-sense is gonna render that shit pretty much useless anyway, cause while the fear toxin might (heavy emphasis on MIGHT) be more powerful than those methods, the principle is the same. Messing with your perception of reality. And unless you have very, VERY specifically tailored your drugs to counteract the spider-sense, it's safe to assume it's not gonna do that much better than any of those other methods did with him.

Since you stated that he has MJ from a connection like Oracle for Batman, I think Peter’s conscious would be a little clearer. She would tell him “It’s not your fault” for the Titan, since it died from its own from Joker. For scarecrow, I think she would try to comfort him at the best she can, telling him to keep moving forward, to be a hero. Plus, I think the key to help Peter to escape Scarecrow’s fear toxin, would be listen to the encouraging words from his Uncle and Aunt. Since they are his light in strength, what makes him Spider-Man. In conclusion, while Peter’s mental health would be tested, I think MJ and the encouragement from his Aunt and Uncle would give him the edge to push forward to save the day and put a stop to Joker’s plan. Beating the night of Arkham Asylum.

1. lee's powers have a stronger effect then scarecrow's toxins and pete beat that through willpower in the first game. 2. insomniac spidey has a resistance to toxins meaning he'd need a massively larger dose to affect him to the same degree it affected bruce in the first place. 3. unlike bruce spidersense would mean that scarecrow would not be able to sneak up on him to inject him directly with the higher doses he needed to truly affect batman like he required later. like, it's amazing people try to act like scarecrow is that big a threat when bruce being a normal human is the only reason crane got anywhere near as far as he did.

I feel like spidey clears this mid diff at most. Spidey in the game never really got over aunt mays death because he was still grieving. But he always kept himself under control until the influence of the symbiote brought out his emotions. Don’t really think crane gets a hold of spidey for the second & third time, Parker’s just too fast only real way crane could get him is through that elevator by infecting the vents. Spider-Man has way more than enough strength speed gadgets intelligence and mental fortitude to beat these villains. Plus Mr negatives effects are definitely more potent than fear toxin.

Also Peter isn't a stranger to illusions either, he's fought Mysterio plenty. He no-diffs scarecrow (plus Peter's a trooper, he'll just keep pushing on no matter how fatigued he is, physically or mentally. Like this is the man that took like what 2 years to finally take a mental health break to process and move on from his aunt's death? I don't think 3 encounters with scarecrow will break him.)

When Joker is standing on the edge of Intensive Treatment, "Stop this pull the plug stop me once & for all!" Don't know, I feel like after what he went through in the games spidey gained more mental strength and wouldn't be as easily broken from scarecrow. I feel like Miles helped him regain confidence and strength and also made some peace with May's death and other things. Cuz that is what spider man always does, he stands up back again no matter what. Also scarecrow only injects you in person when you’re already tripping on enough toxins to drive ten men insane. I agree that spidey could handle scarecrow, but he can’t avoid the toxin entirely. Plus insomniac Spider-Man has nowhere near as much mental fortitude as other interpretations, especially the comics, so he’d definitely struggle possibly even harder than Bruce did when it comes to the fear toxin.

There’s something that isn’t really brought up in the Insomniac games, but is in the comics. Which is that Peter’s body is actually more resilient when dealing with viruses, venom, etc. Like in the Marvel Zombies event, where it took Peter much longer to get infected with the virus (although he did succumb to it eventually). And even in the MCU, when Thanos snapped his fingers, Peter took longer than the rest to blip because of his powerful immune system. (Confirmed by Kevin Feige) Depending on whether or not he has this could probably help his case with detoxing the fear toxin from his body while dealing with Scarecrow. But probably not due to (again) his weaker mental fortitude.

Video felt a little disingenuous just to give challenge to Spidey in the Scarecrow section, to be honest. His resistance to mind based attacks was already ridiculous in the first game; Surviving Scorpion's verbatim brain eating poison (long enough to make a cure while swinging across the city mind you,) And single handedly breaking free of Martin Li's grasp of his mind multiple times throughout the main campaign. It's hard to even make a case that the Fear Toxin could even work on your proposed "END OF THE SECOND GAME" Spider-Man when Peter got stronger physically AND mentally between/throughout all three games. Not to mention, Crane can't even get close enough to tag Spider-Man with his needle glove due to the sheer difference in speed and the how the Spider Sense can detect toxins (and other dangers) being released into the air. Respectfully spider sense only works when the plot demands it which mutes the detecting toxins in the air, scarecrow only managed to use his fear claw on Batman after he was already affected by the toxin in the final Scarecrow boss fight meanwhile he's just pumping the fear gas throughout the asylum during sections the player nor Spider-Man could avoid like the elevators and exits I highly doubt Peter would notice even with Spider sense before the gas could affect him, fear gas in the arkhamverse not only warps perception but also lures you into false sense of security before it fully affects you. Perhaps instead of glazing on Spider-Man's based abilities you should acknowledge how the Arkhamverse villains let alone the DC villains work respectfully.

I think you forgot about MJ. You mentioned at the start of the video that she would be in his ear, updating him on the state of the world outside. But that would mean she's also there in his head offering emotional support, and considering how much of a foothold she has in Peter's heart, Mary Jane could pull him through these mental ordeals more smoothly than he could do alone. He'd be a little fresher going into the final battle than you think. I do subscribe to the theory that Batman and Spider-Man would each dominate the other's Rogues Galleries, and your video certainly backs that up on Spidey's side, as he brute forces his way through Batman's most powerful foes with relative ease. Joker would **have** to get inside Spidey's head to even have a chance of beating him, because Spider-Man is funnier than him, and that would wear down his patience very quickly.

The big issue is the fear toxin, that is the number one threat to spidy. And i feel like after round one he would try to find away to make a gas mask if he can. And after round 2, he would 100% not be screwing around with scarecrow. His spidey sence would also help avoid getting hit by the toxins, or just help him break out of the effect faster than normal. Insomniac Spidey with his gadgets and powers puts Arkham in check, no problemo. He's nowhere near as mantally stong as Batman, but these enemies are physically and intellectually unprepared for Spiderman. Even if he got angry or even sloppy this could backfire on the villians. An unstable Spiderman might start killing them intentionally. Even Scarecrow, vicious though he may be, would have to be carefull. Spidey overcame the Scorpion's poison and Mr. Negative's projections. He is more resilient to inhalation of harmful gasses and toxins than normal people are. I think it's most likely that he goes through most of them mid diff in a good case scenario (with some difficulty at the end due to exhaustion and poisoning) or Spiderman brutally killing some of these dudes after being poisoned and hit with hallucinations in a bad case scenario.

I like the idea of Scarecrow getting some fear toxic into Spidey, but my question is would he even be able to. Not only did Scarecrow do it once, so Spidey would know about the toxin, making a second and third dose a lot less likely, but the spider-sense would be most likely able to alert him to Scarecrow shenanigans. Is it a perfect answer, far from it, but I think Scarecrow would get one dose off and just be done in the second encounter, if he even manages to get that first dose.

Bruce has spent years training his mental capabilities, Peter hasn’t. Pete (although he has an incredible mental fortitude) only has it because of his experience as a hero and his general personality. Batman has an equal amount of experience as a hero, but he’s also got years of training in order for it to reach its peak. Batman was able to fight off an incurable disease because of his willpower. So it’s a fair assumption to make that Batman would be able to more easily fight off mental challenges than Spider-Man. (Although the 2 are obviously incomparable since we have little information on the fear toxin, and it’s all just speculation)

Also he wouldn’t be dealing with Joker insanity so that would make it a lot easier.

Ivy dieing was a mixer of both, she had to absorb all the toxins to keep the plant alive as the toxin was polluting the air enough to kill them.

Before the first titan fight Joker gives batman an opportunity to kill him, he knew batman wouldnt but still. Assuming all events happen but with spider-man there instead this scene would have spidey swing up to the joker and web him up, with the joker webbed up, mouth included the rest of the night doesnt really go anywhere, Harley Quinn would fold without Joker in this game. Meaning Scare crow, Bane, Poison ivy, Killer croc are never set free meaning nothing else happens. The story would end with in the first 5 minutes of play time. Even if the Joker didnt let spider-man have a one up on him and just released the titan on him spider-man would either web up the Joker during the fight with the titan or he would web zip up to him as he slowly moves away on the titans cage. No matter what spider-man Arkham asylum ends real quick before anything of note happens.

The big problem with Spidey vs Ivy isn't even her physical power (though in that respect she's the only one here who is remotely difficult), its her pheromones. Ivy is a seductress... she is good at picking up on who is vulnerable to that sort of thing and playing mind games to give herself the best shot at deploying them. It's established in the interview tapes she was able to psyche out and slow dose her own psychiatrist at Arkham, lol. Imo she'd start on that immediately with their first encounter (as she doesn't have the bad blood with Spidey she has with Batman and vice verse, plus because Spidey is much younger, more hormonal by default, and clearly more playful in how he speaks). IF Ivy can get his guard lowered enough to gas him with pheromones, or gosh forbid to plant a poison kiss, that's him done for the night as he becomes an Ivy drone and then probably goes and beats up Joker and the GCPD on her behalf, lol. There are versions where her pheromones have worked on Superman himself... that's a problem. Spidey is notoriously a ladies man and kind of a flirt. We see him interact playfully with Sable, and Sable is ostensibly an enemy for half the game while also being extremely disciplined and not playing along herself until the tail end of her DLC when she relents *a little*. Ivy would play along almost immediately, lol

Spider-Man is physically on another level compared to Batman: most I've seen Batman lift is 1,500 lbs., Spider-Man can lift at least 10,000, usually more like 30,000; Batman can run up to 30 mph, Spidey 60 (120 mph when web slinging); Batman's reaction time allows him to occasionally block or dodge bullets, Spider-man's reflexes are 40 times faster than an ordinary person's (and his spider sense is makes him literally psychic); Batman can take punches from superhumans like Slade, Croc, and Bane and keep going, Spidey's taken hits from the Hulk and kept going. Arkham just wouldn't pose a physical threat. Arkham Asylum would be Arkham Stroll for Spider-Man.

I like your theories and ideas for this, but there are only a few things I think that would've played out differently. To be honest, I dont know if Scarcrow/Crane would be able to inject peter with his fear toxin thanks to his spider sense. The only way i can see crane hitting peter with his toxin is by either holding him down long enough, or sneaking up on him which would have 60/40 chance of succeeding. So he might be able to hit him once, but peter will be on guard for his next strike. Not only that but if he had the Anti-Venom symbiote threw this. The suit would cure the fear toxin before peter could experience the toxins effects. Plus with MJ there, i can see her comforting and encouraging him too keep going. Plus I think she would learn that the titan henchman actually died from a heart attack, and that Joker was trying to get inside his head (only if she was in gotham though, of course. also she has put herself in dangerous situations before, so I think she would go into gotham even if peter told her to stay away) And again, if he had either the venom or anti-venom suit. He would easily be able to clear the night with ease. The only difference is that a Venomized Spiderman might not actually pull his punches at all. Plus, if he was close to killing kraven in spider man 2, then he is most likely going to kill Joker in just a single punch if he did get inside his head. Plus he would have about 12-14 gadgets which are the spider arms and web wings. Plus his speed would be off the charts since hes able to travel at incredible speeds in the 2nd game. So imo, i think peter wouldnt be struggling that much. The joker can get into head, I won't deny that. But i think Insomniac would actually be okay. But that's just my perspective.

I get focusing in on the fear toxin since that's the only actual challenge available for Spidey. But I think it's a stretch to say he'd get hit as often as Batman did. This is a good video. But I've gotta say the whole thing with Scarecrow isn't exactly accurate to me. Because the way Scarecrow drugged Batman was by sneaking up on him, catching him off guard. But you can't catch Spider-Man off guard due to his spidy sense. So I'm not sure Scarecrow would have ever been able to use the fear toxin on spidey. Therefore, his mental state would have been fine at the end.

One thing is that maybe Scarecrow doesnt get to inject him. Scarecrow managed to do it with Batman by taking him by surprise but Spidy has the spidersense so he may just catch his hand before he gets injected and knock him out in one punch. In the other hand Peter doesn't have all the info about the villains like Batman had, to make it fair he would need oracle in his ear telling him the details.
