It also fits with Uryū's really good winning streak from the old anime and manga (beating Mayuri, temporarily beating Szayelaporro & Yammy, holding off Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra, etc.)

Yes then have Ryūken save Uryū by using The Stil Silver Arrow on Haschwalth, temporarily stopping Haschwalth's powers but wasting the chance to have used it on Yhwach later so that they're forced to change the ending.

I want uryu to fight hashwalth but at the same time I want uryu to fight ichigo to the death. I'm undecided.

Spoilers: I believe he will fight and beat Ichigo yet again, then finally make the switch and turn on Haschwalth, stalemating and overwhelming him for the most part up until Haschwalth uses The Balance against the more inexperienced Uryū once the night is up, and then Uryū has to be saved by Ryūken fighting Haschwalth and using the Stil Silver arrow on him, temporarily nullifying all his powers, and both father & son defeating Haschwalth together.

Don’t expect any additions. The titles of the episodes come directly from the manga chapters where Uryu completes his heel turn against the Quincy. The Visible Answer and My Last Words. There was also less build up in comparison to the manga. I do think some post credit scenes showing Uryu setting up the bombs throughout Wahrwelt may have helped if they’re gonna stick with the manga version. A post credits scene with Uryu’s feelings about not being trusted could have helped too. None of that happened. But let’s see what we get

I don't have a lot of hope at this point. They're sticking too hard to the manga's overall plot in terms of destination, and it's going to make Uryu's actions feel *really* jarring and strange when he switches sides. TBH, I know I'm in the minority here, but the anime's portrayal of Uryu has been *bad* for me. The fact that he didn't do anything overtly awful to the shinigami made his double agent-ness feel less... I dunno, bad? Especially in the end. Here, the dudes shot a hole in Ichigo that was barely fighting back, nearly killed Renji, and outright killed one of the royal guards. If he's allowed to just get away with it in the end then honestly, I'm going to have a REALLY hard time taking the anime's plot seriously when it concludes. They're just not diverging enough from the manga to make what I feel will be a fulfilling correction to the problems caused by the manga's cancelation at this point. Yeah, we have an entire cour left, but I just don't see how they could fix most of the structural problems at this stage.

Spoilers: I think the fight will follow pretty much what happened in the manga. Haschwalth & Uryū fighting for a whole night and pretty much stalemating each other with Uryū having a slight edge with The Antithesis. But its only when Haschwalth gets back The Balance during the day does he actually gain an edge over Uryū again, and it's only then when Ryūken finally gets properly utilized by swooping in at the last second, using the stil silver arrow on Haschwalth, and both father & son allying together to take down Haschwalth once and for all. Although upon doing this, it's made clear that Ryūken completely wasted the only chance they thought they had to stop Yhwach on Haschwalth, leading to Kubo and the Studio finally being able to re-write and fix the ending of the final battle to make way more sense and be more fitting.

I'd be down with this. They just need to include actual consequences for Uryu and his actions. That's my main gripe with the direction the anime is going in so far as Uryu is concerned. Dude's legit a murderer at this point - and from the perspective of the protagonist side, he attempted murder on two of his friends, and murdered a member of the RG. If the protagonists just smile and accept him back in after that, I'm pretty much going to be done with Kubo as an author lol.

I just hope they don't change the result of their battle and make Uryu win against Jugram just for Uryu to shine. Jugram needs to shine too, it's his big moment with The Almighty reveal and him as the biggest antagonist of the arc after Yhwach. I want their fight to be longer and bigger, but the result shouldn't change. Though I doubt we even see their full fight in this cour...

I think the battle will end as is. It will be expanded in Cour 4. I think Haschwalth losing by being betrayed by what he seemingly trusted most is a fitting ending to his character arc.

I have no trust in Kubo or Pierrot's ability to pull this off after the disappointments of the latter half of Cour 3 and the mostly manga-compliant direction this adaptation has taken. Everything else Quincy-related has been undercooked.
