Why are people still trying to answer the "Why aren't they here?" question without recognizing the congressional hearings asking questions about UAPs and "non-human biologics". The answer to Fermi's question is "the military won't tell us".

It’s because the UAP silliness is obvious nonsense.

@@arich23You're not following whats going on with the hearings and famous cases. Youve been conditioned to view the topic with knee-jerk skepticism your entire life and now that the time has come for you to pay attention and then re-evaluate your beliefs, you're in capable of doing so because of that conditioning. In short, you're closed minded. Your brain completely shuts down when the topic comes up. The game of disclosure activists is to keep banging their "don't trust the government" drum. No evidence supports the idea that the government is lying about UFOs. The underlying rationale is, "The government contradicts what we believe, so they must be lying to us."

6:05 this is the wrong way to look at it. Sure, if took a very short time for humanity to go for living in caves, to go to the moon. But it took the earth a third of the lifetime of the universe to bear forth sufficiently advanced life to start exploring the stars.

I understand there’s things that I can’t understand about science and mathematics but I firmly believe many things we take as guarantees or absolute truths could end up being completely wrong or off. Look at human history how things have evolved and established truths have been proven wrong. I think religion has outlived its usefulness and will eventually be proven archaic.

Today, I read an article that electrons where previously believed to exist soley relative to its proton it charges only measured in whole numbers. Simultaneously, nobody can predict where an electron will exist within a three-dimensional universe. Is it more likely that the universe conforms to our senses or that our limited senses fail to perceive the universe?

How long would it take for people to "invent", numbers, let alone design something as complex as the Great Pyramid, around basic numbers, like say, the number of hours in a day? Or with "irrational" numbers like the Golden Ratio? ( ie:The square root of 1.25, plus .5, = phi. ) 24 divided by 1.25 = 19.2, height, upper chamber 19.2 divided by 1.25 = 15.36, height, middle chamber 15.36 x 19.2 = 294.912, width, squared, both chambers (17.17300206 lix*) Yes, the "as built", dimensions of the chambers within the Pyramid are square roots, to eight decimals of accuracy. How did we forget this? ( 1 "lix" is ever so slightly longer than 1 English foot: 1.001006153, and base 10).

The first radio signals that humans have sent (in december 1901) out into space have reached approximately 123 light-years in distance. This means that they have potentially reached around 31,200 stars within this sphere.

Why NOT humans? Why would HUMANS think math is wrong? And with the apparent superiority of quantum computers & AI, why couldn't the alternative or CORRECT calculations of the TRUE physical properties of the universe, dimensions & quantum factors be determined? Is it possible that the strategy to combine all factors of the universe & subatomic into a Unified Theory is inevitably not possible, just because the constants we've come to believe in are subject to change?
@Eloquence004 күн бұрын
An advanced species might be able to look at our sciences and maths and, supposing they could understand it themselves, show us that our understanding was shallow but not that it's totally wrong. Science is not a religion, you don't need faith in it. Science grants understanding, which is always capable of going deeper. Math, physics, chemistry, etc don't cause phenomena to happen; they merely describe the how and why. The depth of that description might be lacking, but it's still accurate to a degree. A more advanced species might give us new sets of variables to consider, which we couldn't gather on our own for whatever reason, but we would incorporate them into our current understanding of the universe and use that to better our understanding. This has been largely shown as well, in recent times, with the disproving of the luminiferous ether and instead finding that it's largely empty space. It didn't break science or atronomy or anything, it just changed our understanding of it.

I disagree with the notion that aliens would see us as we see bacteria: useless and not worth the time. We have scientists who study bacteria for countless useful reasons. Plus, aliens might find many things interesting about us. Such as our art, music, ideas, inventions, and more. It’s just not true that we would not seem interesting to aliens. In my opinion.
@prestonbacchus42045 күн бұрын
Well the speed of light problem would explain why we have not seen any aliens, assuming that really is a speed limit that even aliens can not break. So we are left with only one way to have alien encounters, in our consciousness. Perhaps there is no speed limit in that ethereal realm. So yea, by that aliens are among us.
