Greg Townsend Sr would be a cool interview. Just got done watching an 83 MNF game vs dolphins where he ran a fumble 62 yards for a touchdown. I remember him blocking punts ect. Rookie on the 83' Superbowl team. Raiders all time sack leader, 4th round draft pick, played for LA and Oakland, (I once heard he was a good highschool wrestler). His son had a small stint with the Raiders too. My question for Greg would be.. on the LA Raiders Music Video he is featured prominently in the background, did he have a singing line that did not make it into the video, if so does he remember it?

Adams doesn’t have to carry, hes going to be a focal point yes but to carry? An example of carrying is Kelce with the chiefs or Puka in LA when Kupp is hurt. Raiders drafted Bowers who is an absolute freak and also still have Mayer, they also have Meyers and Tre Tucker. Raiders are depending on Adams but he’s not carrying.

You’re throwing in the towel for a rebuild when this defense was playing like arguably the best defense in the NFL and you have a rookie QB that was improving as the season went on. How are players supposed to buy into AP if the new regime is trading all assets? You have a rookie QB on a rookie deal with a great defense and a ton of offensive weapons. This is not a playoff team, but I love them! Trade Adams and Miller now grab all the draft capital and cap space you can get and we will be set for half a decade or longer! Maybe 2 one’s and 2 second round picks. Then extend Malcom and Nate, and sign 1 or 2 great players, and draft that great quarterback and help the line.
