Me personally i wouldn’t ever trade him unless needed, but ur if we were to trade him im not giving him away unless they give me a 2nd round pick or better with a backup QB in the trade.

What if the Patriots thought the same when they drafted Brady behind Bledsoe. Hooker has talent and a skill set Goff doesn't. Keep him. Cheap back up on a rookie deal. Developing the old school way. Like Brady like Rodgers like Love. Give him a chance to develop. What if he's better than Goff?

No one can just come on and instantly be a star from the first moment. It takes a little while, no matter who it is. Give Hendon a chance, if he ever comes down to him.

Hooker, if traded before he even plays a preseason snap, would have to get a 1st, but more likely a 2nd round pick in return. He is right now at what everyone knew would be the starting point of his career, now healthy. With a ton of potential.

Keep him. I know this sounds nuts but my gut tells me he will be a total stud in the preseason and might enter the regular season games on and off when a mobile QB play might come in handy during drives to soften up the defense in certain areas.

It would make absolutely no sense to trade a good backup QB. You don’t want to go from Hooker to Sudfield. That would be a significant downgrade. Hooker had a very good college career and enough to make me feel comfortable him as the backup to Goff.

I'd leave it up to him. If he thinks he could be a starter somewhere then trade him. Id take a first for him. Or a second and third. As for our back up QB situation the UFL has a ton of talent at that position proving week after week their skills

A) I would consider trading him. If the Lions could get a decent backup to replace him. He might be able to actually compete for the starting spot in NY. Daniel Jones doesn't seem to be very well regarded.

Preseason we should see a lot of Hendon and see what he is capable of in game if he plays great he might become trade bait.
