Could The Dog Man Movie Bring Back Captain Underpants 2?

Very cool fun fact: Yesterday, the official universal pictures channel posted a video informing everyone that dog man is now on roblox. Basically showcasing how you get to play with dog man on certain Roblox games and hunt down clues from petey. I think this is a genius marketing strategy because they brought dog man to one of the biggest online games in the world.

I’d say licensing for a Captain Underpants sequel is not really a problem. For example, the first Trolls movie was under 20th Century Fox, and then the sequels Trolls World Tour and Trolls Band Together were under Universal. Same goes for How to Train Your Dragon. HTTYD 2 was under 20th Century Fox, and then HTTYD 3 was under Universal. Even Boss Baby is another example of this too. So I think Universal should be able to make a Captain Underpants 2 no problem. They just need that push or confidence to make it happen, and hopefully Dog Man’s box office success helps with that!

i would really want there to be some post-credits scene where it hints to a Captain Underpants sequel in the Dog Man movie. I mean, Dog man is a comic made by George and Harold, and in the CU world there is literally an invention that brings comic books characters to life, like C'MON!!!

Captain underpants left perfect room for a sequel and I think it should get one personally, I think that it’s a Dogman movie does well. There could be a cat kid comic club movie or a super diaper baby movie.

If The Dog Man Movie does really well in theaters (Which will happen) I could see Dreamworks making a Captain Underpants 2, The Dog Man Movie 2, or just a series on one of them (Even though we have a Captain Underpants series on Netflix already lol), but that’s what I think though.

I never read the books, but a Captain Underpants and Dog-Man crossover does sound fun. Definitely ready for Bad Guys 2 thou... also if Dog-Man and Captain Underpants exist in the same universe it would be cool if the movie ends with the boys developing their first comic book and it being Dog-Man.

I would recommend a Captain Underpants sequel because I’ve been having dreams about new scenes of George and Harold like meeting a girl name Francine who is a helper with her cool inventions of stopping Dr. Diaper just in case Captain Underpants needed some backup.
