Certainly the biggest advantage of the Dyson Sphere is its industrial capacity and total population, by the time it captures some Star Wars spacecraft and reverse-engineers it, that's the end of it. Imperio's only chance really is a surprise attack with a super weapon and that's if you have a solid Dyson sphere. I imagine a Dyson swarm made up of numerous habitats and solar collectors is less susceptible to a weapon like the Death Star. Interesting detail, these micro black holes have an estimated diameter smaller than a proton, basically if you shoot one of them at a Death Star it will pass between the atoms of the station's armor while releasing an incredible amount of thermal radiation, melting the weapon from inside out.

Palpatine would be able to built both Strakiller Base from Cannon and the Sun Crusher from Legends before the Dyson Bean would even get to the first target. Unless hyperspace is a thing IRL, or we find something similar (physics is a weird area of science where the only truth is that you know nothing), even the most OP megastructure will stay behind fiction.

a dyson sphere is mirrors that reflect light that is bounced a black hole, which some of that light is lost, yet some also gains alot of energy, it should be able to be left shut and produce what's basically a quasar incinerator (i made up the "quasar incinerator" btw)

There were races in the eons before the Republic was even conceived that had a K2+ civilization like this. A prime example being the Iokath civilization. And pure destructive force in the form of M.A.D. is needed, SW Legends has access to planet shattering and galaxy destroying Lovecraftian monstrosities locked away inside forgotten worlds and bleak dimensions.
