To the uneducated people saying that we never went to the moon I hate to tell them that with a large telescope you can see the lower stage and other space junk we left on the moon.

No, that's not true, there is no telescope on Earth that can see evidence of humans ever been on the moon, not even the Hubble Space Telescope.

Not true - there is no telescope on Earth that can resolve objects that small. It's possible theoretically but not practically. You would need at least a 200 inch reflector. Check your facts - a simple google search will confirm what I say.
@william8698
@william8698 Күн бұрын
Not even the Hubble could see what's left on the moon. It's designed to collect faint light of galaxies and nebulas, not objects on the moon. From Earth, we would require a telescope at least 75 feet (25 meters) across to spot a 32-foot (10-meter) object on the moon.
@robertkerr4199
@robertkerr4199 16 сағат бұрын
No telescope on earth can do this. Only a spy satellite could, but we don't point those at the moon. We did leave laser reflectors though. If you fire a high powered laser from Earth, you don't get a reflection from the Moon but if you aim at the reflector, you get the return. So we can definitely demonstrate there is technology on the Moon, we just can't see it with telescopes.

@dav9993 14 сағат бұрын
The Apollo missions minimized the danger from the Van Allen radiation belts by: Trajectory Planning: They chose paths that avoided the most intense areas. Speed: The spacecraft traveled quickly through the belts, reducing exposure time. Shielding: The spacecraft's structure provided some protection. Exposure Limits: The radiation dose was low and within safe limits for the brief transit time.

I don’t recall the stats on that design, but had it ever been built, it looks like it could have made it to orbit.
