Hello KZbin family, I really hope you enjoy this salon visit. I was traumatized from my previous salon experience in Ghana, so this time around I decided to go to a different salon this time around. Although I was scared, I needed my hair done so I took a leap of faith. Watch this video to gain insight on my experience and let me know what you think.
Would you go to this hair salon???
Follow @edenhealthyhair on ig as well.
Thank you guys for your continued support. Love you all

I would most definitely visit that salon. My previous experience with a so-called "natural hair" salon here in Houston was HORRIBLE!!!!! None of the techniques used here were implemented. I mean... it makes sense for natural hair. She ripped through my extremely thick coily hair with a blow-dryer and did not section it and took waaaay too long. Final result... tons of my hair on the floor and a very unpolished looking updo. Never ever been back to a salon!!!!

This is so beautiful because my Jamaican mother would do this to my hair when I was younger; wash days was brutal but you knew how beneficial and vital it was when it came to wash days. Avocado, banana, raw egg, with mayo is such an underestimated power protein treatment also when you incorporate Oils like Indian oils, Jamaican oils, cloves, etc. just seeing this reminded me of what my mom use to do for us which I’m doing for myself as well. Just keeping up with these treatments your hair will thrive of course and sadly for some years I didn’t but I’m getting back to doing these self care treatments that my hair desperately needs lol. The key is serious patience’s as well.

The last time I went to a hair salon was two years ago in Nigeria. They were absolutely HORRIBLE. The hairstylists complained and complained that my hair was too “stubborn” and “thick” and bad while saying that my sister had “good hair”. She has the exact same texture as me, her hair is just shorter so it was somewhat easier to style. They were speaking in Yoruba because they thought I wouldn’t understand; I’m British but I got every word. They ripped out my hair so badly and they didn’t take care of it at all. After that I stopped visiting salons ANYWHERE. I can only go to a hair salon if they treat my hair like this. A lot of salons in Nigeria only deal with relaxed hair and it’s actually quite sad that they don’t care to learn to look after the hair that naturally grows out of their scalp. If you guys know any good natural hair salons in Nigeria or the U.K. please let me know 🥰 when I go to ghana I’m definitely visiting this salon.

The main reason why conditioner works is because: it provides a temporary coding over the hair. when water is added and that coating is what allows the hair to become slippery and with that , your hair doesn't break as easy especially when adding water to it, using water alone creates a type of fragility to the hair although it allows the hair to be hydrated it is not best to comb the hair with only water.
